Fae A.

Stepping out of the shower I dry myself off, letting out a sigh. Billie and Claudia are coming over in about an hour and I have never been more nervous in my life. Photo shoots, movie sets and red carpet events barely phase me but hanging out with two girls has me feeling like I need to throw up.

I guess I'm a little worried that Billie and Claudia won't like me for me, and will only like me because I'm famous or something. I know they gave me no reason to think that's the case but I have lost a lot of 'friends' who took advantage of me because of my fame. It's been hard to find genuine people to hang around, that's why my hairstylist and makeup artist are my closest friends.

Going into my room I get dressed, deciding on something comfortable just shorts and a t-shirt. And because I'm me I had to throw on a few rings and a necklace or two. There's a knock on my door as I begin to comb out my short hair, "come in!"

Claudia comes in grinning from ear to ear, "I can't wait for them to come over!"

"Careful, one might assume that you have never had friends before" I chuckle.

"Oh shut up you doof" she comes behind me swatting at the back of my head.

"Ow! No need to get violent" I grunt, rubbing my hair.

"You are such a big baby" she scoffs, "so do you think Billie will fall head over heels for you?" Claudia teases.

My heart skips a beat, "what makes you think I want that to happen?"

"Oh please, don't pretend like you don't find her adorable and attractive."

"I do but I don't need her to fall in love with me.. I mean some time in the future i guess that would be nice but for now I just hope she likes me for me" I defend.

"Why wouldn't she?" Her eyes brows raise.

"I don't know" I shrug not wanting to get into it.

"Don't over think this, I'm sure neither one of them are gonna pretend to be your friend just because you're Fae Avara" she explains emphasizing my name.

"I would hope not" I mumble.

The doorbell rings making me flinch slightly, "they're here!" Claudia squeals, "come on!" She excitedly drags me out of my chair, down the stairs and to the front door.

She pulls the door open and smiles even bigger than she was a few seconds ago, "hi guys!" Claudia pulls them both in for a hug.

"Claudia chill, you're gonna scare them off before they even get through the door" I chuckle pulling her off of them.

"Hey Alana, hey Billie" I say, my eyes lingering on Billie for a few seconds.

"Hi" Billie smiles warmly.

We step aside to let them in, Claudia shuts the door behind us while I guide them to the living room. Well I actually call it the social room, just because there are no couches. When having guest over, couches feel impersonal. There usually isn't the right amount of room on them and we all have to turn around bodies in different ways to face each other. So in my 'social' room there are only very comfy beanbags formed into a circle with a small coffee table in the middle and a huge 85in flat screen tv for the ultimate cinematic experience.

"Wow this room is so cool!" I hear Billie mumble in awe.

"Thanks cutie" we make eye contact and I wink at her making her blush.

The girls stake their claims on the beanbags of their choices and I go to the kitchen to grab snack. Just grabbing various bags of chips, candy and water bottles. I place everything on the coffee table before sitting down myself.

"So tell us about yourselves" Claudia says not allowing for any awkward silences.

"No way dude, you actually put your gum on the back of her shirt?" Billie and Alana fall into a fit of laughter.

"I had to do something, our mom and dad hated when I chewed gum. They said it was a 'disgusting habit' and 'unladylike'" I quoted.

"I get that you had to do what you had to do but that was my favorite shirt!" Claudia whines, playfully shoving me.

"Whatever, every shirt in your closet was your favorite shirt" I tease.

"So if you don't mind me asking, why didn't both of you just going into modeling and acting together?" Alana asks, our happy mood quickly floating away.

"Well um, I wasn't really as talented as Fae.. plus it wasn't me dream to be on screen and all over the cover of every magazine anyway" Claudia says telling just half of the truth.

"Nothing wrong with that" Billie shrugs. "No offense but being famous seems a bit over rated. If I were famous I would probably be miserable."

"You don't know that half of it" I mumble myself, at least I thought it was to myself but from the corner of my eye I notice that Billie's head turns my way.

"I'm gonna go whip us up some pizza rolls or something, Alana could you help me?" Claudia announces giving Alana a strange look.

"Why would I- oh oh, yeah sure of course. We'll be right back okay?" Alana looks to Billie, Billie just nods.

Some sister. How could she just leave me alone with Billie when she knows how nervous I am to be around her.

My eyes fall on Billie, taking in her appearance. Oh my god, she's so precious. Is that a weird way to describe someone over 18? I mean it probably is but that's the only word that comes to mind. She has this innocence to her that is childlike. I almost feel the need to protect her from well.. me. My chaotic like to be exact. How could I have a relationship with someone not in the public eye?

She already made it clear the being in the public eye would make her miserable so is this even worth trying? Since she's been here I've had this urge to kiss her, she is just so laid back and honest in a good way. She is a tad bit shy but as the night goes on she has been saying just about anything that has come to her mind.

"What do you think they're doing in there? Making pizza rolls from scratch?" Billie giggles pulling me from my thoughts.

"I don't know maybe" I chuckle, "I'm really happy you and Alana are here. It's refreshing to talk to people who aren't freaking out because of my fame."

"Even though you're famous you're still a person just like me. You don't seem like the type to want to be put on some high pedestal."

"Yeah, I really don't.." I trail off. I feel like I should tell her I haven't been able to stop thinking about her but I don't wanna freak her out. Or come off as creepy, I've just been so curious about her and getting to know more about her.

"You know-" we both say simultaneously making each other laugh.

"Sorry you go first" she giggles.

"No it's okay you can talk" I insist.

"Okay well I-"

Claudia and Alana come back into the room holding a tray with a pile of pizza rolls on it. "Dinner is served" Alana says in a funny voice.

"You two are so lame" I chuckle. I can't help but wonder what Billie was gonna say before they walked in.
