                          Alana K.

It has been a calm and quite frankly, boring month. I haven't seen much of Billie since she told me about her super cute date with Fae a few weeks ago. Those two and practically inseparable now. I'm really happy that Billie has gotten close to someone new, but I do miss my little bean sometimes.

"Alright guys I'm gonna head out. Have a good night and don't forgot to lock up." I say to the others in the kitchen.

Getting into my car, I toss my belongings in the backseat and pick up my phone. I text Billie asking if she wants to hang out. She responds pretty quickly, telling me she'd love to see me and to pick her up as soon as possible.

When I pull up to Billie's house I honk the horn a few times letting her know I'm here. After a few minutes she comes rushing to the car.

"Hey Bil" I chuckle as she throws her arms around me.

"Hi, I missed you" she hums.

"Wanna go somewhere or just back to my house?"

"Your house please, I have so much to tell you" she smiles but her smile doesn't quite reach her eyes.

"Everything okay?"

"Is it okay if we just talk when we get to your house?"

I silently nod, putting the car in drive and heading to my place. I can't help but be a little anxious, I hope everything has been alright with her.

"Alright the anticipation is killing me, please tell me everything is okay?" I sighed.

"I mean yeah, everything is alright. But things aren't so okay with me and Fae" she mumbles looks down at her lap.

"Why? What's going on? I thought you guys were having fun spending time together."

"I just.. I really like Fae a lot but I have been fighting to stay big and I don't know how much longer I can suppress it. And all this stress is making me wanna slip more" she whines.

"Aw I'm sorry sweetheart. Come on let's go inside."

Once we get to my room, Billie plops on my bed with her heard hanging low. "Cheer up lovey, how about you get comfy and slip into headspace while I shower real quick. Then we can play with your toys, how does that sound?" She nods silently, smile just a little.

I feel so bad for her, I know it's her decision whether or not to tell Fae but i'm afraid she'll have a nervous breakdown or something if she doesn't come clean.

                                      Fae A.

"Why are you moping around? I've seen you smiling ear to ear for the past few weeks" Claudia says when I enter the kitchen.

"I'm not really sure, Billie and I have been spending a lot of time together but I can't shake this feeling that she's hiding something" I sigh, sitting on the counter while my sister cuts up fruit and tosses it in a big bowl.

"What makes you think that?" She stops to look at me.

"Well she has these moments when she rushes to the bathroom and it takes her a while to come out. I thought maybe she was just anxious after our first date at the restaurant but it happens a lot" I pop a grape in my mouth earning a playful scowl from my beloved sister.

"Are you sure you aren't just overthinking things? Maybe she just a really anxious and shy and needs a minute to get herself together."

"You could be right. Maybe I'm just nervous that everything has been going so well. It's been a long time since i've enjoyed s-"

My phone rings, loudly I might add, my eyes all but roll to the back of my head seeing my father's name pop up on the screen. "Yes, father?" I grunt putting my phone to my ear.

"Who is this girl you've been spotted out with?"

"I don't think that's any of your business father."

"It is my-" I hear whispers in the background, "hi sweetheart, what your father means to say is how come you haven't mentioned her yet? Are you two dating? We'd love to meet her" my mother says.

"We are just .. friends. And even if that changes it really isn't your business. She's very shy so I will introduce you to her when she is ready."

"We understand. Well don't forget you have a photoshoot tomorrow at 9 am and then an interview at 4:30. I'll seen a car for you."

"Alright. Goodbye mom and dad" I hang up and place my phone back on the counter.

"They found out you been running through flower fields with Billie?" Claudia teases.

"Oh shut up. I wish they intruded on your life too so they'd leave me alone every once in a while" crossing my arms over my chest, I sigh again.

"Perks of being the invisible child" she grins.

"When are you going to sit down and talk to them? Tell them how abandoned you feel?"

"Don't pretend like you don't know how they act towards me. I'd have to make an appointment to have a conversation with them. I'm sure mom might listen but we both know how Kenneth is."

"We should do dinner. Invite them here to our new place" I suggest. "Even if dad doesn't show, i'm sure mom would love to talk and be apart of your life."

"I don't know. That could go really great or extremely horrible and I'm really not in the mood for more family drama" Claudia says with a lot of uncertainty in her tone.

"Oh come on just one time and if it doesn't go right I won't try to play peacemaker ever again" I nod curtly.

She takes a few seconds to think before rolling her eyes and sighing in defeat, "fine but you better have my back if Kenneth shows up and attacks me."

"Of course I'll have your back. I should have always had your back" I mumble that last part.

"It's alright, what's done is done. Don't beat yourself up about it" she shrugs.
