Anastasia POV

I'm not going to lie and say that I didn't already have baby fever. It was bad the other day seeing her with Aurora.

But now seeing the way that Florence was with Evie.

It made me really hopeful that this could be our future.

I don't want to ask her too soon if she wants kids, because I'm scared of scaring her off or rushing her into it.

I was honestly thinking on the drive here to my family's house on what to say and how to word it. I personally think that when it's time to discuss the possibility of having kids, then we will but for now we will wait and see.

We finally pulled up into the driveway and I decided to park behind my mum's car.

"Emaly, I can carry her in", I slightly hear Florence whisper to Emaly.

I silently watched through the mirror as Florence unbuckled Evie and got out, before lifting her out.

I heard her say, "Whoosh", as she lifted Evie out of the jeep making Evie giggle.

I went to get out as my Aunt was handing Emaly the flowers and Em nudged her head in their direction. I smiled a little when I saw that she was carrying Evie on her hip.

I gently placed my hand on Florence's lower back as the other two walked away from the jeep towards us and I quickly locked it.

The five of us headed straight inside and immediately were greeted with the delicious smell of Sunday roast but on a Saturday because we're a weird family.

"Okay, do you want down Evie?", Florence asks Evie and she quickly nods.

Florence puts Evie down, but Evie had other plans and took one of Florence's fingers into her hand. I smiled at my niece as she looked up at me.

"Oh you want us to walk with you Evie?", I ask her and she nods. I gave her one of my fingers to hold and the three of us walked over towards the living room behind my Aunt and Emaly.

Aurora saw the three of us and looked right at Evie with a raised brow.

"Mama", Aurora said slightly annoyed. Evie let go of Florence's finger and tugged at mine to be picked up.

I lifted my niece off the ground, which made my daughter roll her eyes.

"Princess, can you grab the little monster?", I ask her quietly and she laughed a little.

Florence POV

Evie let go of my finger and Anastasia picked her up.

I looked over at Aurora and she looks like she's about to lose her shit over this little girl.

"Princess, can you please go grab the little monster?", Anastasia asked me quietly and I laughed a little. I walked over to Aurora and she sighed.

"Honey come here", I say to her but she shook her head. "Aurora Mae, please come here", I say again and she smiled a little. She looked at me and I walked over to her.

"I need help out of the chair", she whispered and I smiled at her. I helped her get up from the chair before picking her up.

I carried her over towards where Anastasia and Evie were before switching her to sitting on my hip.

"Aurora Mae", Anastasia says and her daughter ignored her.

"Honey, listen to your mama", I whisper to her and she sighs. "Mama", Aurora deadpans and I look at Anastasia giving her the oh you fucked up look.
