Anastasia POV

I was sitting on the back patio couch with Stefania before she looked at her phone and stood up. I was confused until I saw it was almost three meaning that Aurora's school day is practically over.

I nodded as she motioned that she'd be back and I looked back into the yard at our girls and our partners. I love that Billie and Winnie are getting along, I was initially terrified that they wouldn't get along.

But only because Winnie hasn't been around much dogs other than maybe one that she was born with. I continued watching the dogs play as our partners talked before I went inside to get a drink.

I also wanted to text Stef to grab milkshakes for everyone, and maybe grab some flowers for the loves of our lives. I also knew it would throw off Aurora a lot more if they stopped for milkshakes and flowers.

Aurora isn't fond of surprises, I mean I don't think any is. But Aurora despises them with a passion, I have no idea where she got that from. I don't hate surprises, unless it's an ex or a party that I didn't want.. So yeah never mind that checks out on why she despises them.

The only surprise I like is finding out my darling is pregnant, or that she was and always has been Aurora's birth mum. I prefer hosting surprises versus receiving, but I can't really complain about that. I accept them without being annoyed or rude, I just don't...

"fuck I still need to text Stef", I thought to myself as I felt myself wandering in my thoughts.

Aurora POV

That was weird, we got five milkshakes and three bouquets of flowers. I was beginning to get a little curious on what was going on, Auntie Steffie hadn't said much about anything or really much at all.

She was driving us back towards her house, and now I was getting more curious on why we got everything that we got. I tried my absolute best to just brush it off as her wanting to spoil Auntie Lizzie, but I couldn't brush off the curiosity of the possibility that my mums came home.

We pulled into her neighbourhood before she continued driving home, I wasn't really paying attention to our surroundings. I had mostly just kept my eyes on my milkshake that I was holding in my hands as I didn't want to drop it, or put it in the cupholder as it was pushed into the chair and then I would most definitely drop my drink.

I mentally continued humming and hawing on what could be going on, but then I looked up as we turned into her driveway. I saw mommy's suv parked behind Auntie Lizzie's car. I gasped loudly making Auntie smile as I quickly threw my seatbelt off.

She laughed as she said, "You need to help me first".

I nodded as I took two of the bouquets into one arm holding them close to me not caring that they were dripping onto my uniform, whilst holding my drink in my other hand.

I rushed her to get out of the car which made her laugh more to herself. We both made our way towards the front door and as soon as she unlocked it I ran down the hall.

I didn't bother to take off my shoes, which will probably get me in trouble with my aunties. But my mums were back and that takes prominence over everything else.

I immediately looked around not seeing them anywhere. Auntie finally had caught up to me and took the bouquets from my hand as she knew I wanted to go hug my mums once I found them. I carefully put my milkshake down and she pointed to the back door.
