Florence POV
Sept. 6, 2022.
I had only planned to fly to Venice for the red carpet portion of the film festival. I really did not feel like or really plan on staying here with the cast.
Granny and I had decided to book a late flight tonight from Venice back to Heathrow. We fly out around 9pm.
I truly do love being here in Italy. But with the amount of paparazzi that are here for the Film Festival, I'd rather just head home and see my family.
Plus Zach and I haven't really discussed how to tell the world that we broke up yet.
I was laying in my hotel bed while trying to figure out a way home from the airport.
My granny offered that my granddad and her could drive me home, but I refused.
I know that they'd just be going out of their way and it seemed really unfair of me to make them do so.
They live in London in a cute little apartment. So to me, it made no sense for them to drive me all the way home to Oxford and then have to drive themselves all the way back to London.
As much as I do appreciate the gesture of them offering, I didn't want to make either of them do that.
It's already bad enough that it's going to be kind of late when we land.
I was just thinking of anyone that could or would be willing to pick me up. I sighed before deciding to see if one of my sisters could pick me up.
I unplugged my phone from the charger and quickly decided to text Raffie to see if she would be able to drive out to pick me up.
Raffie
Me:
Hey,
I need a favour?Raffie:
Hey,
what's up?Me:
Can you pick me up from Heathrow,
for around 10:30pm?Raffie:
Yeah,
that's not a problemMe:
Thank you
I don't want to make granddad
drive me home that lateRaffie:
Like I said,
it's not a problem.
I'll see you when you land!!Me:
Okay perfect!!
Thank you!!
Love you Raf!!Raffie:
Love you too Flo!!I plugged my phone back in before getting off the bed. I slowly started to get my things together to quickly repack.
I was honestly so ready to finally get home and to be able to lay down in my own bed. Well not home because home is in Los Angeles, but Oxford is still my home in a sense.
I checked to see if Anastasia had texted me yet, but to my slight disappointment she hadn't.
I'm not going to lie, I was a bit upset that she hasn't texted me back yet.
As I was repacking I left out a sweater, biker shorts and a sports bra. I secretly stole one of Anastasia's hoodies before I left because it gave me slight comfort.
I grabbed my traveling makeup bag from my luggage, before walking into the bathroom. I put my bag down on the counter.
I pulled out my travel size micellar water and some cotton pads.
I poured some micellar water on a cotton pad and gently wiped off my makeup.
After it was all removed, I put my things back into the small bag, taking out a small bottle of cleanser and moisturizer.
