Aurora POV

I woke up to the sound of laughing which had me a little confused, but I shook it off as I got out of bed. I smiled as I heard the laughter carrying through more, I slowly opened my door before walking out and down the stairs.

Our house once looked like a home, but now it's bare and empty. The last few things left were our bedroom furniture which will be moved out within the next few days. I looked at the once decorated walls of pictures that were now gone.

It felt weird to look at the house, the house I grew up in. But I was excited because we're going home to Oxford and then moving in next door to my Aunties when we return.

The laughter died down as I walked into the living room to see Mum and Mama on face time with someone. I didn't pay attention to who it was until I heard Papa's voice.

"PAPA", I yelled excitedly as I raced to join them and he laughed as he greeted me back as excitedly, "AURORA".

"Are you excited to come home?", he asks and I nodded immediately as I snuggled into Mama.

"Your Aunties are more excited, they have lots of fun adventures set up for this summer", he says and I smiled as Nana Deb popped her head onto the screen.

"We also have set up Mum's old room to become a room for you to stay in whenever you want", Nana says and Mum rolled her eyes playfully as I smiled.

"When do you guys leave Los Angeles?", Nana asks and Mum replied, "We fly out at 3:30pm and we should be leading in Heathrow at 10:05 in the morning tomorrow".

"Okay, I'll send the kids to drop off a vehicle for you two to drive back in", Papa says before yelling off camera for Uncle Sebastian and Aunt Raffie.

"We will let you get settled, so don't worry about Sunday night dinner. We've already discussed doing one the following Sunday with the Bettany's", Nana says and Mum nodded as Mama smiled and kissed my head.

"Well we'll let you go, so you guys can get ready to head home", Papa says as he waved goodbye and I smiled as we all waved bye before the call ended.

"Okay so the plan is for us to leave at 1, I'll be putting everything into the car. We'll be flying in pyjamas, which we have already put to the side. So you both should go change and toss your dirty laundry into the one suitcase", Mama says as she put me down and Mum teasingly saluted her making her smack Mum's butt.

"Mama can we please, please, please stop for fries before we leave Los Angeles?", I plead as soon as she got into the SUV and she looked at me with a look that made me plead harder, "We won't be back for a year, and I want to have my last ever fry from In and Out before we leave for the year".

"Mummy please help me", I say as I tried to swindle Mum into helping and she just laughed as she looked at Mama before saying, "She's got a good point Anastasia, we won't have an In and Out back home and we're flying private so we can bring food onto the jet".

I watched as they just stared at one another before Mama sighed and agreed before saying, "We will stop, but like Mum said it'll be food for the flight".

"YAY", I cheered excitedly as I got my way and Mama just shook her head as she turned on Mum's car before she situated her phone to the bluetooth.

"We'll stop at the In and Out by the airport, darling do you want to make a list of food that we will be ordering?", Mama says and then questions Mum as I got more comfortable in my seat.
