Aurora POV

I just saw it.

I saw the sign that read "Monterey Bay Aquarium" and I squealed with excitement as Auntie Lizzie followed the signs to bring us to the parking lot. I was getting more and more excited as she went to find a parking spot.

I didn't even know which animal I was more excited to see, but I was mostly excited to be experiencing this with my Aunties. I do wish mums were here with us, but that will be a future trip.

Auntie Lizzie parked into one of the many spots before I got unbuckled quickly. They both laughed as I pumping with so much excitement.

"Rules", Auntie Lizzie says as she points a finger at me and I nodded.

"One do not run off without us, two no talking to strangers unless they are aquarium staff members and three warn us if people are taking pictures of us", Auntie Lizzie says and I saluted her which made her chuckle as we all got out of her car.

I took Auntie Steffie's hand before taking Auntie Lizzie's as well, so I was sandwiched between them as we walked through the parking lot.

Auntie Steffie let go of my hand as we were walking to the main doors before she opened it for us and we stepped in with her behind us. Auntie Steffie wandered over to pay for our entrance before my eyes widened as I looked around.

"Look honey there's an ocra", Auntie Lizzie says as she points up to the ocra they had hanging on the ceiling.

My jaw dropped as I looked at it before I looked around again. Before I knew it Auntie Steffie was walking back to us, she took Auntie Lizzie's hand in hers before I walked ahead of them.

I saw the directory and decided that our first section would be the sea otters. I turned right and led them straight towards them.

I walked up the stairs before heading straight to the glass, they walked up behind me and stood with me as I looked at them. I was smiling like a mad man as one swam close to the glass. I jumped for joy as if it was saying hi to me.

Then I saw a baby otter with it's parents before looking at my Aunties as I said, "Look these ones have a little baby".

I decided enough was enough of the otters as we have a lot more to see and also a long drive ahead of us. I led them back down the stairs and towards another section.

I saw more whales hanging from he ceiling as we wandered through the aquarium. I was so captivated by them, it was so cool to see the humpback whales.

"Let's turn back around, we still have a lot more to see whilst we're here", Auntie Lizzie says and I turned to face them.

I nodded as we kept walking, we walked back to where we began before heading towards another section. I had no idea what to really expect, but as we walked I saw a sign for octopus and it made me a little fearful.

Octopus kind of terrify me, which sounds weird to admit. But they do, it's weird to say or tell people. I don't know where that fear came from, but I don't want to know. So I just looked at them before we headed off.

That's when I saw the sign for one of my favourite oceanic mammals. I wandered straight for the section where they would be before walking straight towards the glass before seeing sharks.

I jumped up and down as I watched them swim around, I saw other fish as well. But I was so thrilled to see sharks, it was honestly the coolest thing ever.

I have no fear for sharks, I am truly captivated in them. I think they are the coolest thing ever. I kept watching them before hearing, "Let's continue, we have a whole aquarium to check out still".
