Florence POV
I found myself lost in my thoughts as I stared off into the sea before me, my feet dug into the sand before I heard the sweet giggles of our children as they ran towards me. I smiled softly as Aurora, Sirius and Celeste came racing towards me before seeing Anastasia chasing them.
I tried not to laugh as they were obviously playing, my heart melting at their happiness of being here. I love coming to the beach, especially in the summer and especially love being at the beach here in Italy versus England beaches in the summer. The water is more much comfortable and warm compared to home where they are cold and take a while to get used to.
I knew they hadn't gone off into the water yet to swim as they were all waiting for the Coppola's to arrive. We had left before them as Stefania had to wrangle up their three children as Elizabeth groaned about having to endure the heat whilst pregnant.
Part of me felt guilty for not being able to have more children, to give Stasi a big family. But she never cared, she kept telling me over and over again, "We have three amazing, chaotic but hilarious children that's all we need. Plus we have Raffie and she's just as chaotic as our children, probably worst and most likely the reason they are the way that they are".
I noticed the twins suddenly whip their heads off to the side behind me before I followed their attention to see Alessandra, Francesca, Xavier running towards us. Xavier trying to keep up with his sisters as they were much faster and only a year older than him.
"HI AUNTIE FLO", the three of them yelled as they ran towards the group of them before I saw Stefania and Lizzie.
I slowly stood up as they walked towards me, Stefania carrying as much as possible so Lizzie wouldn't have to. I smiled as I offered to help her before Stefania shooed me off and began setting Lizzie's chair up under the umbrella beside mine.
"Hey Liz, how's the pregnancy going?", I curiously ask and she rolled her eyes immediately before saying, "It's not bad, we decided to not know this one's gender this time around. But I think it's a girl, this pregnancy has been a lot like the one with Aly and Franny. I mean I didn't even know I was pregnant with Avi until I hit eight months".
"Avi really did sneak up on you", I say with a soft laugh as I helped her sit down as Stefania stood there watching before she kissed Lizzie's head and wandered off to join the others.
"I think this one is our last, I mean I would never stop if I could. Plus I think four is plenty", she says with a soft smile as I looked at our children along with our wives running into the ocean.
"I still feel guilty for not giving this life to Stasi, and I mean a bigger family", I tell her as she took my hand in hers before jokingly saying, "I could sell you one of mine".
"Oh like Stef would allow that", I joke back before she giggled out, "Oh definitely not, she's already excited for baby Andrea to come".
"How much longer did your due date?", I ask with a soft smile as she softly smiled back whilst replying, "October 3rd".
"How are the kids feeling about another sibling?", I ask and she laughed a little before saying, "Avi is not thrilled to not be the youngest, Aly and Franny are excited though. I mean they'll have a five year age gap with this one versus the one year with Avi. But they are all deep down excited".
. . .
I felt my eyes slowly wanting to open making me groan as this dream felt so surreal, I opened my eyes before feeling my belly as the twins both kicked. I fought back a laugh as they did so before I smelt breakfast.
