Midnight x F.P.

hi it's me :(

welcome to the official end of midnight x f.p .. i truly hope you enjoyed reading this story, as it was a pleasure writing for each and every one of you.

i truly loved writing this story and coming up with all the chaotic storylines. but truthfully the end has been a long time coming and i didn't think it would go this far, yet here we are. i am a little sad that it's over now, but all good things must come to an end.

you may be wondering why this chapter isn't titled 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚑𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚎𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚗𝚎 or 𝚎𝚙𝚒𝚕𝚘𝚐𝚞𝚎, but i felt it deserved a little better than that. this story's title is obviously titled midnight, which is a song by toby sebastian and was the inspiration behind this whole story.

this was the start of the midnight saga, which i didn't even think would happen. i had no plans to make a saga, but i did and i loved every moment of it.

i originally was planning that the epilogue title for this story would be a completely opposite song. the opposite of midnight... which technically is midday, so then i went through options, i went through different daylight songs before deciding to go with.... a completely different song lol.

i fought myself on a few songs, i had gone through songs like; golden hour by jyke, daylight by harry styles, daylight by david kushner and daylight by taylor swift.

but then i questioned myself a little.. this story started because i fell in love with midnight by toby sebastian which obviously features florence pugh.. so i scrapped the name that i had and went with a newer song by toby sebastian.

i chose 𝚕𝚎𝚝'𝚜 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚍 because it felt more perfect to find a song by him to kind of close off this story. i had decided not to title it another song with midnight in it as i didn't want you all to think that was a hint to a newer florence story.

plus there were two little blurbs of this song that literally stuck out to me when i was finding something to title this story's epilogue..

When I close my eyes, your hands in mine

and then this little blurb...

We talk about the future

just those two little parts made me decide to go with this song as the epilogues end title. i also felt like let's pretend worked well with this story due to how it ended.. we don't know where they are off to next, i don't even know at this moment where they'll end up being. so FOR now they've been set free...

only free for now because their story will continue, just maybe not in it's own story... their story will continue in after midnight x e.o as "guest appearances"... unless that's something you'd be interested in reading (it wouldn't be quite yet as i have other story projects going on).. so let me know and maybe just maybe i'll do something for their story with them in a year from when this story ends?
