Anastasia POV

Saturday Late Afternoon.

I just finished my lovely meeting with Feige and was finally on my way home. I was driving towards my neighbourhood when I got a call from my mum.

"Hey mum", I say as soon as I answer the call.

"Hey Anastasia", my mum says and I can tell that something's up immediately.

"Mum... what's going on?", I ask and she nervously laughs. "Uh well", she says and that freaks me out immediately.

"Mum what is happening? Is everything okay? Is Aurora okay?", I ask as I'm starting to worry and she laughs.

"Anastasia, I wouldn't necessarily be worried about Aurora right now", she says and I am confused as fuck right now.

"What do you mean that I shouldn't necessarily be worried about my daughter right now?", I ask curiously.

"Mum", I say a little sternly to get her to talk. "I may or may not have dropped Aurora off at the house with Florence", she says and I have literally no words.

She dropped off Aurora and left her with Florence, who hasn't even met Aurora and doesn't know how to deal with her psycho tendencies.

"What do you mean mum?", I ask and then ask, "Wait never mind, how long ago did you drop Aurora off?".

"Less than an hour ago, Aurora wanted to go home and I figured you were home. Florence said she'd be fine with Aurora and I told her to text me if needed. But I haven't heard from her. So either they are fine or Aurora has her trapped somewhere or she has Aurora trapped somewhere", my mum says making me laugh.

"I actually haven't heard from Florence either. But it's fine because I'm almost home anyways. Hopefully they are fine and aren't trying to trap each other", I say and my mum laughs.

"I'm sorry Anastasia, I should've checked with you first", my mum says and I laugh.

"No it's fine, I'm more so just now worried about the questions that I know I will be asked", I say and my mum gasps.

"DID YOU NOT TELL HER YET?!", my mum asks a little loudly. "No uh, but Lizzie mentioned Rory yesterday and I told her I'd introduce them", I explain and she laughs.

"Anastasia, she's going to be upset that you didn't say anything", my mum says.

I don't want to be lectured right now, I just want to get home and make sure both of them are okay. "I got to go, I'm almost home now", I say and my mum laughs.

"Okay well, I will come back after dinner to pick Aurora up", my mum says before we hang up.

I turned onto my street and was practically almost home. Within minutes I had pulled into my driveway.

I hopped out of my car and quickly walked up to my front door. I took a deep breath and went to open the door.

As I opened the door, I heard music blasting from the kitchen. I took off my shoes and hung my keys up before silently walking towards the kitchen.

I could hear Florence singing and Aurora laughing. I pulled my phone out and put it on video to send to my mum, so she knows that they are okay.

I quietly snuck into the den and sat down on the couch. The song just switched and both the girls looked at each other with wide smiles.

I watch as Florence handed Aurora a clean wooden spoon before she grabbed one for herself.

I smile as Florence booped Aurora's nose with her spoon before she started to sing the first bit of the song.
