Aurora POV

I walked into the school first thing in the morning, I was excited to tell Rose about how I will be staying with my Aunties for the next month. I was excited because that meant Rose would be able to come over whenever since Auntie Scar and Auntie Lizzie are really close, well same with Mommy and Auntie Scar. But I see Auntie Scar more at Auntie Lizzie's than at home.

I made my way throughout the school towards our classroom, that's when I saw someone clearing out a cubby. I was confused on who had transferred out of the school, usually the cubbies only get cleared out is when someone transfers or moves.

I didn't think much of it as I went into the classroom, I noticed all my classmates sitting there as I walked in. There was maybe a few not here yet, one being Rose.

I walked towards our table and sat down before putting my bag on the floor. We only use our cubbies for unnecessary things like our gym stuff and shoes for rainy days.

I didn't realize the rest of the class had walked in, I was just lost in the happiness of knowing that my weekends will be filled of fun activities. I know my Aunties well, they definitely have been planning interesting things for us to do.

Plus the school knows that I am staying with them, so they are allowed to pull me out if needed or call me out if needed. I just hummed as our teacher stood up from her desk and walked to the front of the class.

"Good morning, today I had gotten some unfortunate news about a classmate", she says as she looks towards me before I realized Rose never came in.

"Unfortunately Miss Dauriac has moved with her family out to the East coast and will not be coming back for the rest of the year, or from what I have been told next year", she says and I felt my world crumbling a little.

"I know some of you were close to Rose", she says as she looks at me and I felt myself wanting to cry but I held on strong.

"But this has apparently been in works for a little while, Miss Dauriac's mom has work commitments out East along with her step-father. I am sorry for those that were close with Rose, she will be dearly missed", she says as she looked at me and I faintly nodded.

I wonder what happened. Mommy hasn't mentioned anything about this, does mommy know? Did they get into a fight? I know Mommy was talking to her the other day and looked beyond fed up.

I just sat there as my thoughts rambled through my brain before my teacher walked over to me. She gently leaned on my desk as she looked at me.

"I know you two were best friends, so if you want to go help Mr Stephens clean out her cubby you can", she tells me quietly and I shook my head.

"I'm okay, I just wasn't expecting her to move", I say and she nodded a little.

"I don't think anyone was, I don't have any answers for you. So maybe one of your mums knows what happened", she says and I shrugged before saying, "Mommy and Auntie aren't talking right now, so I don't think she knows.".

"Well I am here if you need to talk", she tells me and I nodded a little as she stood back up.

"Today instead of doing boring school work, I figured we could all spend the day watching movies instead. I have a few options for you all to choose from", she says as she walks back to the front before showing us the options.

"So option one is Avengers: Age of Ultron, option two is Finding Nemo and option three is Toy Story", she says and everyone obviously chose option one as we've been watching Marvel films in order on days like today where she doesn't want to teach.
