𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸: 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆

Two weeks has passed, three days until homecoming and I have no dress. I decided to wait because I had plenty of time but waiting became stressing because when I decided to go look again I couldn't find anything. I can't order anything because it won't come in time and I don't know where else to look. My mom has sent pictures of some when she's out but nothing is plain enough. Maybe I'm being too picky.

I've also really been thinking about what Jake said. I'm starting to think of him in ways I know I shouldn't and it feels wrong but I can't help it. It's worse when you think about the time I'm spending with Vin. I see him at school obviously and sometimes outside but if we're not seeing each other we're texting or calling. He's a sweet boy and quite the softy. I really wish he and the guys wouldn't be be so tense around each other. I think it's more so because they know Jake and he's very handsy.

They probably just don't want anything to happen which is understandable but it'd be nice to have him with me since I'm around them more. Dej and Jake both nearly cut my head off when I joined him at a cafe and didn't tell them but the last thing I want to do is have he and Jake fighting.

"I'm fucking starving why did lunch take so long jeez"

"Agreed Corey" Ess agrees with Corey as us three walk into the cafeteria.

"Why didn't you make your brother buy you some food today ?"

"Because unlike you he's not a good older sibling"

"Where is Jake anyway ?"I ask Corey as we're approaching the table of my friends with a missing Jake.

"He said he had something to handle but he'd be here shortly."

"Hm. Well here's some money you two can get something from the vending machine. I'm going to sit down" I hand them $10 and go to sit with my friends.

"Hey babes" Dej greets me cheerfully.

"Hey friends" I wave as I sit in between Dunner and Chris.

"Any luck on a dress yesterday?" Danny asks.

"No none at all." I groan and put my forehead on the table. "This shit is ridiculously hard. Why is it so hard to find a simple black dress last minute ? The only time I'll have to go and look after yesterday is the day of because my momma wants to get our nails and toes done today, I have to take my hair down tomorrow and then boom Saturday."

"Dont worry you'll find something Mani" Dunner comforts me with a back rub and the sound of chips in my ear.

"Yeah or I'm just coming in nice jeans and a pretty shirt. I hate formal events when I don't know what to pick."

"Fear not forever, when we're older and you have a hot ass boyfriend I'm sure he'll buy you all kinds of pretty dresses, probably expensive as hell and you'll only need to worry about which ones you want to give to me" Dej winks. She's really comforting in her own way.

Her and Ty decided on wearing red and her dress is gorgeous. It's long and wine red colored with no sleeves or straps. It fits her so perfectly and really compliments her skin shade. All of the guys bought suits of course and then there's me: close to balding.
