Vin invited me to his house but I didn't feel comfortable going just to argue with him. We met up at the same park tat he and his friends played basketball at and when arriving, he didn't even kiss me. The worse part is that I wasn't mad about it. My main focus remained on the matter at hand and it positively wasn't his lips on mine.

"Alright ? We're here, what's wrong ?"

"Mani, I love you and I want our relationship to last but I feel like you're not as committed to me as I am with you."

"Because I spend more time around my friends or because I'm close with Jake ?"

"Both. You're always with them. As my girlfriend I would think you want to be with me all the time. For about a month or two we were fine but then you started spending less time with me."

"Vin we were fine because I spent less time with them and more with you. There was no balancing my time with either of you and you're my boyfriend I get that but you have to understand that I just moved here. I only know a hand full of people and y'all are the only people I can be around at the moment. They're important to me and if you don't understand that then I don't know what to tell you. I want us to work too but at the same time you want something from me that I can't give you"

"It's not that hard to tell them you want to be with me for a day or come out with me"

"I have. Plenty of times before actually. So many times I told my friends that I couldn't come hang because we went to see a movie or just be together. Of every time I said no for my new boyfriend they never once looked at me differently or assumed the worst. I invited you to come out with us more times than I can remember but you refused because of Jake yet I barely know your friends and I would hang with them to spend time with you. You want me to do stuff that you wouldn't. You want my effort but where's yours ?"

"You won't compromise with me. Your friends are fine but you know how Jake is and that's when I'm around so who knows what he does when I'm not? I know you were out with him earlier. One of my friends saw you two really comfortable while walking to a table."

"You were stalking me !? What the fuck is wrong with you Vin ? I don't know what your goal is but stalking me won't get it."

"I wasn't stalking you he just saw you and texted me"

"Did he tell you that Dunner was there ? And that Jake was saving me from a situation with some random guy ? No. He didn't. So stop assuming shit. I'm not cheating on you with and Jake if I were I wouldn't make it so obvious."

"I mean you're driving his truck what am I supposed to think? You wouldn't ask me to drive my car you dont even want to come over"

"I didn't ask to drive it he offered and I am because comfortable enough to. You can't be mad that I don't feel comfortable with just walking into your place. We're not there"

"We aren't trying to get there either. Why do you move so quickly with him but not me ? Even Dunner, you faithfully visit him and Daniel like you live there"

"Vin we're in a relationship, it's going to move slow because I have to be careful with who I'm in a relationship with. It's going to take time for me to trust you enough to come over."
