Tyler POV:

"I go" Jamie said, coming a moment later back with his Mum. "Hey Tyler, good morning. And who is that little beauty?" His Mum asked after she dragged me into a hug. "Morning Heather. How are you?" I asked not going to answer her last question. "Mum, I have to talk to you." Jamie said, as soon as he came back in the kitchen leading her in the living room, leaving Maddy and me alone.

"Tylew?" She looked up from her plade rather sad. "Yeah?" I questioned "Why Momwy not hew?". She asked with a bit of glossy eyes. "Come here" I pet my lap and she comes around the table. I lifted her up setting her into my lap and turning her to face me.

"I know it is going to be hard. Your Mum is on holiday and isn't really comming back the next months, you understand? But you have me and..." yah well what is Jamie actually "You know what we're going to find out what Jamie is for you" she looked up at me with an confused look.

"No Daddy?" She asked. "Yes he probably is but we have to be sure." She nodded although I think she didn't really understood what I've said and cuddelt herself into my side.

A gasp was what I've heard from the living room. Clearly Jamie just dropped the bomb of news. There was some mumbling going on and I heard footsteps coming into the direction of the kitchen, right after that Jamie stepped into the kitchen and plopped himself down on the chair next to mine and signed.

"She took it not too well I guess?" Jamie looked into my eyes and then at the girl. "It actually went quite alright, I think she just needs a moment. I convinced her to come with us to the hospital and take care of Maddy after everything is finished, we can then drive to practice after it."

"I'm coming with you to the hospital? You want to go to practice? What is with shopping like clothes, a bed, you don't even have a car seat!" I said with my eyes on Heather, who just came through the door.

"Tyler is right Jamie and you know what I will do my first task as a Grandmother and go buy her a car seat" she said with a smile on her face walking up to Maddy and me, giving her a ruffle through the hair making it messier that it was before. Maddy smiled at her, stroking over her head also before she dropped her head against my chest.

"You don't have to do this, Mum. It's ok, I can do it by myself. And we don't even know if she is my daughter for sure." Jamie said shaking his head and looking in the direction of the three of us now.

"Yes, I can tell.." Heather said watching Maddy, who is still in my lap but put her head up again ".. you looked the same as a toddler."-"Did you just said I looked like a girl?" Jamie pouts at his Mum. "No! Well, yes kinda but after we shaved your head you looked like a boy." She laughed answering her son.

"I always thought there was something girly on you" I smiled in his direction causing him to slap my upper arm softly. "Ouch, easy I have your kid in my arm." I joked.

"Thank you Mum and also thanks to you Tyler for those kind words." his first words making me and his mother giggle. "But I highly respect your opinions so I'll just say nothing. And back to the other part, you really don't have to buy a seat Mum." directed Jamie the conversation back to base. "Tell me young men, how will you drive to the hospital then. Or drive to the store to get one?" She asked. "I don't know yet but I will-"

"Nonsense Jamie, I'll be back in fifteen minutes. Bye guys", she already walked to the door, waving and with the last word being said she closed the front door. "Come on Jamie be grateful." I smiled at him and pinched his hip a little causing his to smile too.

"You're right" he signed once again "but we should start eating outherwise we will never get in the hospital on time."

"Why hospwita?" Maddy, still in my lap asked and set up straight again and putting her underarms on the table like she would close a business deal in the next few seconds. Jamie and I began to smile at her.

"You remember how I told you we have to find you if Daddy is your Dad" which she quitted with a nod. "And that we have to do at the hospital"

"ouh okay" she said and wobbled herself out of my grip and walked up to Jamie who picked her up and put her on the chair in front of us again sitting himselfe beside her. "Can eat, me hungwy?" She made clear and waited for Jamie to put her a pancake on her plate and cutting it.

"And coming back to your questions from before... thought you would come with us to the hospital, I told my mother to stay with Maddy and we go to practice right after the test." Jamie answered my question I asked before his Mum came in. "And what is with shopping the stuff Maddy needs? Also do you tell the team about her and when?"

"When it comes out that she is my daughter... why are you laughing?" He asked in reaction of my laughing. "She is definitely your daughter without any doubt." I laughed about the fact he thinking the little girl, who is eating or at least trying to eat her breakfast right now isn't his daughter.

"As I said if she isn't my daughter, I don't have to buy clothes and stuff. And that is also how I handle the team. I won't tell them unless the test comes back positive. Thats also why we have to go to practice to don't be suspicious." Jamie said while eating one of the pancakes. "Sounds good to me, but before the practice we have to go to my house again so I can get my stuff and shower really quickly."

As we were about to clean the dishes the door rang again. This time I went, after a nod to Jamie that I would take it, to the door, revealing his mother but this time with a car seat.
She could barely look over the seat I took that as a point to get it out of her hands into my own and then at the floor. "Come in again" taking a step to the side so she could enter. "Thanks Hunny" she smiled softly while taking off her shoes.

After we made sure Maddy fits into the seat we buckled it up in Jamies car and everyone got in it and we went to the hospital.
