Tyler POV:

Jamie came back to me after he sat Maddy in one of the seats behind the glas next to Pete. "I have an idea" I said kinda excited. "What is it?" Jamie asked and raised his eyebrow a bit.

"What do you think if we screw the new ones a bit? And kinda pretend to be in a relationship." I asked, in my head that sounded more like a plan but when I said it out loud it sounded a bit silly, whatever.

"Why should we do this?" He asked confused. "Because it's fun" I tried to convince him. He wasn't to sure about this idea and thought it is unnecessary. "Yeah but since when are pranks necessary?" I think I got him now, since he only nodded and skated away after our talk.

"Tyler?" I heard a voice behind me. I turned and there was John standing with an unsure look on his face. "Hey mate, what's up?" I said in a good mood. He stumbled a bit over his mumbled words befor he sighed and tried again

"Is there anything we should know, between the captain and you. I mean we know you two are like technically married but that today was like extrem. Everyone would be happy for you, you know it." I started to laugh and at the same time I started to skate.

"No, there is nothing. You just joked with me being Maddys Papa and I thought I would play along and mess a bit with the new ones, and there faces are priceless. Actually I wanted to mess with them a little more so you can say it to the old ones but not to the newer, okey?" He just nodded, smiled and got himselfe a puck, I did the same and started to do test shots towards the net and stretched a little before the coaches called us to them.

"So guys we will play a little game. Stand in a row and every second person puts on a white jersey. And decide who plays in which position. But make it so that your listing makes sense." He said and I looked around to know who is in my team.

The rookie and one of the new ones are on Jamies team. That he is on the other team doesn't keep us from talking to each other before the game from time to time.

"Jamie, Tyler cut the flirting! Everyone on their positions!" One of the other trainers on the ice yelled as Jamie and I were talking about our "operation mess with the newbies" right now, making us separate and concentrate on the game. But not before Jamie casually slapped my bum like he did sometimes before a real game.

We skated on our positions before the coach blows his whistle and the first third begins. We played the first two periods without any goal, which stressed us because our trainers increased the pressure with every second in which we didn't score a goal, so our play and movements got more aggressive. In the game Jamie and I didn't had a chance to speak, certainly not in the third period.

I was about to carry the puck in the offensive zone as I noticed the rookie next to me. He moved himself closer to me and put the stick awkwardly between my legs trying to get the puck causing me to fall.

I slided over the ice and the last thing I saw were the boards coming nearer and nearer. I felt that I slammed head first into the boards and for a short period of time everything went black.

When I came to me again after maybe 5 seconds I could hear everyone talking but I didn't really understand what they talked about. It was all a blur, my eye sign and also my hearing.

When everything became clear again, I saw the ceiling of the hall and I feel like the lights are so much brighter then before and also the talking seemed louder and I could hear someone crying. Maddy.

I wanted to get to her and comfort her but I couldn't, now my little girl is probably scared. I rolled onto my knees and could hear someone talking to me. I looked to my left and saw William, our head doctor.

"Tyler, can you hear me?" He asked, I nodded dazedly and tried to sit up. "Keep is slow" he said and pressed a towel on my head, I guess I have a laceration on the head or something like that. "Where am I?" I asked quietly but nobody answered me.

I managed to stand up but as soon as I looked up everything turned and I notice how I tilted away to the right.

Someone catches me and stumbled some steps backwards

"Easy Babe. Everything nice and slow." I looked up to know who is holding me up and saw Jamies worried face. As soon as I was really sure that it was Jamie next to me, I let myselfe fall against him and laid my head onto his chest, the towel still on the other side of my head which is not on his chest.

Yes this is comfortable.

"Jamie? ....Where am I?" I mumbled and looked around seing everyone was watching with a worried look. The looking around aggravated the dizziness making me close my eyes hoping the dizziness will stop.

"Yeah it's me. Everything is alright, you are in the rink, remember? Come on Babe, we have to get you to the bench" he said in a low voice to not disturb my hearing and I tried to skate in the direction of the bench which didn't work really well and in the end Jamie had to carry the most of my weight.

Right there I noticed that he called me Babe again, I'm actually getting used to it, and I have to say I kinda like it. It makes me feel like I belong to somebody. The thought of it making me smile a bit, hopefully nobody noticed.

What the hell am I thinking?

It took around two minutes to get me from the offensive zone to the bench. The crying is still present and I looked to the left and had to squeeze my eyes to get a clear sight.

I saw Maddy with a tear-stained face and Pete trying to comfort her. "Jamie?... Maddy?" I asked quietly as he laid me on the bench. "She is alright, just a bit scared. Should I bring her here?" I just nod but regretted it right away.
