The Perfect Mistake

Chapter Six

Tyler POV:

After the practice was over I finally got that mic of and signed a contract that I've consented to the recording. I went back to the locker room and got the gear of, revealing my sweaty body.

I take my towel and shampoo and went just in my boxershorts to the showers. Almost everyone was either finished, showering at home or at the end of showering, except from me. So I took my time and stood a while under the hot water.

As the door opened I looked right at Jamies bare chest. "Something is really up today, you're not even looking me in the face. So amazed at my gorgeous body aren't you?" Jamie said and begun to laugh. I just rolled my eyes and turned to look at the wall.

"Aww babe you don't have to be embarrassed." he acted the whole thing out like we were really in a relationship, I looked at him again sceptical, asking myself if I should play along, deciding against it this time.

"How will you tell the team about Maddy?" I changed the subject abruptly, making Jamie step out of his acting and go under the shower in front of me. "I don't know, I think I'll just say it and wait for the response." He signed and rub the shampoo in his hair.

I looked away and also started washing my hair. "What about the media? How will you tell the fans?" I asked and at the same time I tried to find a solution.

"I also don't know that, I guess this will be harder than with the team. I think I just post a picture on Instagram and say that I kept her out of social media till now. I kinda don't want them to know that I only know her since today." He said slowly like he is not really sure about what he said.

"Yeah this story sounds plausible to me. And when will you do it?" I asked after finishing to rinse the shampoo out and turning the shower off. I turned around and looked at Jamie, still showering.

I kinda understand why he was being voted the hottest man dallas a couple of years ago. "-.. Tyler?" Jamie asked, was he talking to me?

"What?" I asked back, looking at his face realising I had stared at his back and as he turned his chest. "You really have to stop to adore me, it's getting creepy." He laughed as if I have never looked at him before.

"I thought you always loved it when I stare at you?" I smiled in his direction. He smiled also and rolled his eyes. "By the way, I said I think I will take the pictures right when I get home." I nod at his answer and went into the locker room to get dressed. Jamie also came after a bit of time and got dressed as well.

We drove to the hospital again and went to the playground near it. We walked over to it and could already see Heather sitting on a bench near the slides. Maddy is nowhere to be seen.

"Hey Mum we are back, how was it?" Jamie asked. "Hi you two, it went good, she is a really polite and easy little girl." Heather said standing up and walked beside Jamie to the sandbox. I looked up and saw Maddy there sitting and building a sandcastle.

"Hey Maddy" Heather called making Maddy turn around and look at us. As she saw Jamie again her eyes lit up and she left everthing and ran towards us "Daddy!" She screamed full of joy.

Jamie picked her up and threw her in the air, catching her afterwards and giving her kisses on the cheek. Jamie let her down and she turned around to me and stretched her arms out that I can pick her up.

I set her on my arm and gave her a hug before also giving her a kiss on the cheek. She giggled and wipes the non-existent drool from her face.

"Hey, no that disguwting!" Maddy screamed indignantly but still giggling. I tickled her making her laugh more. I turned my attention back to Jamie and Heather, they're both looking at us smiling. "What?" I said.

"Nothing, nothing. But we should get home, I guess." Jamie suggested and already makes his way to the car. I walked with Maddy on my hand behind Jamie and Heather.

"How was your day Sweetie, did you had fun with grandma?" I looked down at her, waiting for an answer. "Granwdna-? What that?" I didn't expect that response. "You don't know?" She shock her head.

"Uhm you know Jamie is your Daddy right and his Mum is your grandma. You understand?" I tried to explain that she also would understand it. She nods but doesn't look convinced more confused, she does the same thing like Jamie with her forehead wrinkle.

"What don't you understand?" I asked her.

"You mummy alwso my grnwdna?" She asked confused. I need a little to understand what she means. "Oh uhm no", "Why no?" She asked and stoped walking, reaching her hands out so I can pick her up.

"You know Daddy is your what we call biological father means he is your real Daddy and I'm not.", "Why no?" For an almost three year old she is asking many not understandable questions for her.

"Because I'm not,.. I am sorry I don't know how to explain it to you" I signed and shaking my head. "You no my two Daddy? Papa?" Her words making me laugh a bit and I'm fascinated by how smart she is, I think I wouldn't understand it if I was that young. "No love, I'm not your second Daddy.", "Why no?" Finally a question I can answer appropriately.

"Because your Daddy and I aren't in a relationship. And before you asked "why not" it is because we don't love each other, not in that way." Hopefully she didn't ask any further. To my luck she just nod and leaned herselfe on my chest.

"You couldn't walk any faster, couldn't you?" Jamie asked as we stopped by the car where he and Heather waited for us. Jamie took Maddy out of my arm and buckled her up. We also got in the car and drove back to Jamies.
