Eddie POV:
I took a breath, I was ready. I needed to try and bide more time. Then the world gave a small glimpse of hope. The lights shut off and a song by the scorpions starts playing over the walkie, you feel Mattie grip your arm and Meredith starts to laugh, "you little brats like your games."

As the darkness sets you hear scuffling and movement, men scream then the smell of gasoline was in the air, "Mattie... hold on to me...."

I felt her grip tighten then there was a flicker of light then the screams start. I smell it now, gasoline, it lights up behind Meredith and she turns screaming as Rupert lifts her up and hurried out the door. She's kicking and flailing. Mattie is looking around the room as we watch the men be consumed.

The fire is ripping through her men and they all take off running, "Sinclair?!" I'm looking around frantically and see him with Robin, he was hiding her behind him and he nodded, "I'll meet you outside Eddie."

The boy could always read a room.

"Don't fucking move!" One of the men spewed, he was torched and his skin slowly melting causing a smell I had never experienced to pierce the air. I now can hear sirens outside, Hopper must have finally won over the precinct. I smirked and stood in front of everyone, "it's getting too hot in here, just let us go."

That's when it happened too fast, there was the butt of a shotgun and it struck the man in the side of the head, Billy snarled, "Here I am bitch."

I heard Ellie sigh and she runs over to us, "anyone hurt?!"

That's when she sees Jason and Patrick. She smirks and nods at them, "just Carver then eh?"

I nod at her, she has a few marks on her face, looks like her and Billy must have scuffled to get here. Billy is licking his lip and frowns, "you need more hot girl friends Ellie, Munson's the prettiest... well available girl here." He winks at Mattie who just looks at me.

I raise an eyebrow, they were back to normal, so she turned him down. Steve had won? Was I too late to win her back...My gut twisted and I watch as she is looking around frantically, "where is Suzie?!"

"We told you she was missing.." I met her eyes, she looked scared. Fuck. Okay think Munson.. Suzie is one of your sheep... where would she go?

Billy took a look around and saw Robin, "one..."
