Things had kind of settled down when Hyunjin and Minho seemed to have taken interest in other things, not really showing up and leaving me and the boys alone. The issue with my doppelgänger was out of the way as I decided to not let it get to me too much. It wasn't much of a problem anyways since I felt like I could trust Chan's words when he said he saw me as the person I am, and not a copy of Ophelia.

Thalia also seemed to be in a better mood again, her cheery self having returned what made me relieved and Felix and Seungmin were exited for the upcoming Halloween party.

I for my side was rather stressed because I had to cook. Yes, cook, because Thalia decided it would be a good idea to have a dinner party of sorts and wanted it to take place at my house — maybe because she liked mine more than her own or whatever reason she had to insist on it.

"Nova~ can I bring someone along today?" The female asked, grinning brightly while skipping along me after school had ended.

"Sure, who is it?"

"My boyfriend"

I haltet. Her what now? Boyfriend?

"Wha— since whe— who?!" My mind was just throwing random pieces of words for me to speak when my brain gears tried to rattle through my memories of when the hell this girl got a boyfriend. Had she finally confessed to Changbin? Why didn't I knew of that?

"Hehe~ you don't know him"

"Then what about Binnie?"

For a moment, a slight frown was visible on her features before returning to her original expression, looking at me with joy filled eyes, "I gave up on that. I was wasting my time anyways" she said, causing me to frown this time.

Wasting her time? It was kind of strange for her to say such things when she was supposed to be head over heels for the werewolf boy. "Well... of course you can bring him, I'm curious about who the lucky one is"

Where they fail, you've got to go
on the offensive

It was time to reveal my inner Gordon Ramsay. Standing in the kitchen and staring into the book of recipes that my mom had given me, I was quick to take the ingredients out that were needed for whatever it was that I was about to create.

"Sugar? Why sugar? The last time I checked, this was not a dessert," I mumbled to myself, seeing the list of things I needed to add in a pot to make the sauce, wondering why the hell I should add something sweet, "I'm just adding salt instead. One teaspoon? Rather make it two"

"You better not" I heard a familiar voice ring out from behind, looking back to see Felix rushing over to stop me from adding the small white crystals. I had asked him to help me with preparing the dinner in case I would mess up and it seemed as if this help was desperately needed after just having started like five minutes ago.

"Why not? Adding sugar won't be better"

"Just do what they say in the recipe, they know what they're doing" he said, taking the spoon out of my hand and filling the salt back in the cup that I took it from. Letting out a sigh, I added the sweet ingredient instead.

Some minutes passed and I was pretty sure that Felix was more exhausted than he should after having to prevent me from cutting off my fingers like carrots, having to turn off the stove every five minutes because I was too incapable and extinguishing a fire that somehow erupted when I tried to make tea.

In the end, things were neatly placed on the table, I was happily sitting on the couch and sipping the tea that now had a slight roast aroma while Felix sat besides me, head laid back over the backrest.
"Thanks a lot" I said, placing the cup down when the blonde sat up properly, giving a tired smile.

"No problem," he said, ruffling my hair before standing up, "the others should be here soon, so I'll be on my way"

"You sure that you don't want to stay and eat with us?"

"Yeah, my mom will behead me if I'm late" he sheepishly chuckled, not exactly fond of the idea from being yelled at for being so late at home.

"Well ok then, get home safe and greet your mom from me. See you tomorrow" I bid goodbye, leading him to our front door when he smiled brightly at me.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow" he exclaimed and went for a hug, pulling me closer and enclosing my body in a tight embrace when I just laughed despite already feeling my bones crushing under the pressure and the air being knocked out of my lungs.

"Bye~" and off he was.

I thought I could get a few calm minutes before Thalia would show up once I closed the door behind the male but came to the realization that it was not granted for that I had a little sister who called out my name from up the stairs, looking down with a slightly panicked expression.

"What is it this time?" I asked, watching how she turned to see if our mother was around to make sure she wouldn't hear her next words.

"Kaburamaru escaped again!" she whisper yelled, coming down to me and shaking my shoulders in a frantic manner, "we need to find him before mom does!"

Kaburamaru. Auroras albino corn snake. It was not the first time that her pet snake escaped its enclosure and every time, I had to help her get that things back before our mother would throw a tantrum. I mean, I couldn't blame her. Imagine walking into a room and suddenly there is a almost two meter snake slithering up your leg.

"You are so hopeless. Might as well just close the enclosure" I hissed, walking through the rooms with Aurora to search for the little pooper.

"Ah" coming to a sudden halt once I walked into the living room again, a moving white stick came into my view and I was pretty damn sure that it was Kaburamaru who was trying to hide under the couch.

Just when I crouched down to get ahold of the animal, the doorbell rang, causing me to groan in frustration and mentioning my sister to go and open it for that it was probably Thalia.

Slowly taking the snake into my hands, I was just lucky enough that Aurora at least didn't messed it up to tame her pet so he wouldn't bite me, getting him from under the couch and slightly cursing at him when Kaburamaru just stared at me with his wide red eyes that were freaking adorable.

Aurora came rushing in again, taking her snake and sprinting upstairs before our mom would notice, leaving me to heave a heavy breath when then Thalia entered the room, grinning when I saw her hand holding another and dragging a rather tall male with her when he was wearing the same, cheery smile.

Wait a damn second–

"Hi! I should introduce my boyfriend to you! Nova, this is Hwang Hyunjin!"

Oh holy shit.
