ERIS
"I'm here! Alana, are you okay?" Nathan called out as he ran up to us. He was holding Elijah in his arms. Alana was currently on a gurney, being rolled away to get checked.
"A bodyguard?! Really Nathan?!" She exclaimed. He looked over at me, and I shrugged. He shook his head, and Elijah waved at me.
As soon as we were in the room, they were checking Alana. I was sitting with Elijah on the side, trying to keep him calm from the yelling. After a few minutes, Alana calmed down, and the doctor stood up.
"It's false labor," He announced, and Nathan looked at him.
"Are you saying my sister faked it?"
"Braxton Hicks," He said and took off his gloves. "It feels like real labor, but it isn't. You're doing completely fine. It just means the baby will be here soon,"
"How do I know when it's real?" She asked him. I could tell from her face she was still in pain, but at least she wasn't yelling anymore.
"It'll feel very similar to this. The contractions will be closer together. You'll be able to tell the difference,"
"She's okay to leave?" Nathan asked.
"Yes, make sure she gets her bed rest from here till the real birth," He said, and we nodded. He excused himself from the room, and I looked at Alana.
"It felt real," She frowned and looked at her belly. "You hurt a lot,"
"No more going out from now on. You have to take care of yourself and relax. I had someone get your things, and it's already at home," Nathan said, and I smiled. "Come on,"
They advised it was better for her to leave in a wheelchair. Not surprised about what happened next. She and Nathan had a small argument about it. She was being stubborn. He was being persistent. Here we are, back home and wheeling her in front of everyone. The whole elevator ride up, she was getting after Nathan for sending a bodyguard with us and making her ride in a 'stupid wheelchair.' She stayed quiet as soon as we sat her on the couch.
She crossed her arms over he chest and said, "I am not staying laying/sitting down for days or weeks until I give birth,"
"Doctor's orders, sis," Nathan shrugged.
"Do you want some of your snacks?" I asked, and she nodded. I went to the kitchen and got her a bag of chips and water.
"I am his mother," Alana said as I walked back into the living room.
"You heard the doctor. I know how to take care of him as well," Nathan said as he picked up Elijah.
"Here you go," I said and handed her the chips. "I'll stay with him. If it helps," She nodded and turned on the t.v. I shrugged at Nathan, and we walked away from her. We got to the room where she was staying, and Nathan laid Elijah on the bed.
"Doesn't even trust me to change a diaper," He mumbled to himself. He went to grab the stuff he needed. "I've been helping her change his diaper since he was born,"
I sat on the bed and watched as he executed all the steps perfectly.
"See," He held Elijah up.
"You're so good with him," I commented as they made faces at each other.
"You guys better not be having sex near my child!" Alana yelled from the living room. I laughed and got up.
"Come on. Let's go before she gets up and checks on us," He followed closely behind, making Elijah's laughs echo through the hallway.
"Sorry. I was commenting on his perfect abilities to care for a child," I said to Alana, and she looked at me as if I was crazy.
"Perfect abilities? I guess he didn't tell you about the times Elijah would start crying, and Nathan would hand him to me, freaking out about not knowing what to do," She laughed.
"In my defense, he wanted to eat and," He pointed at himself. "Obviously, I can't,"
"Whatever,"
We spent the rest of the night in the living room so Alana could have a stress-free day. Although, Nathan was no help with that. He tried to find little reasons to annoy her. I guess that's how siblings act. How would I know if I never had any?~
"Do you want to go to bed with me?" Nathan asked. I didn't say anything, and he chuckled. "Just to sleep. We are taking things slow, remember?"
I stood up and extended my hand out. He smirked and took my hand. He led me through the same hallway but this time headed to his room. As soon as he opened the room, I was amazed. His room was huge compared to mine. It had a massive bed in the middle with multiple doors leading to other rooms. He had furniture and some framed pictures. A big window in front of the bed, and I looked at him.
"How come you get the better room?" I joked.
He sat down on the bed and made me stand between his legs. He put his hand behind my neck and brought me down to kiss him. He let his hands fall on my waist, and mine when into his hair. I pulled on it, causing him to moan. I love doing that. He grabbed my thighs, and in one swift movement, I was on his lap with my legs on either side of him. His hand trailed up my back, under my shirt, and played with my bra strap. He unclipped it, and I slid off the shoulder straps. I tossed it somewhere on the floor, and he cupped my boobs with his hands. I moaned and let my head fall back. He took the opportunity to leave kisses all over my neck, and I pulled him closer. He pulled the shirt over my head and filled his mouth with my nipples. I moaned, covering my mouth with my hand so I wouldn't be too loud. He smirked up at me, my nipple still in his mouth, and bit down on it enough to cause pleasurable pain. I pulled away and looked at him breathlessly.
"You're so beautiful," He moaned, leaving soft kisses on my neck. I brought his face up to look at me, and he pouted.
"Baby steps," I kissed his mouth, and he nodded. I can practically feel him throbbing under me. I felt terrible for leaving him like this.
"Now come on, I'm exhausted,"
I got off him, and he groaned. I looked down, and he fixed his pants.
"Just so you know, I sleep without pants," He said, and I smirked.
"and I sleep without underwear," I winked, and he laid back on the bed with his arm over his eyes. I got under the covers next to him, and he pulled me in close. Our first time sleeping on the same bed, and it felt incredible.
