I had been waiting on the couch since Nathan left. Mathew decided to stay in his room so he wouldn't be the first person he saw when he walked in. I felt terrible. I hurt him after everything he did for me.
I started dosing off when I heard someone trying to open the door. Nathan walked in, and I sat up.
"You're still awake?" He asked.
"I waited for you," I was really tired, but I didn't want to sleep knowing he wasn't there.
"You should've gone to sleep," He stood right in front of me, and I looked up at him.
"I'm sorry,"
He grabbed my face and sighed. "Don't worry about it,"
"You should go to sleep," He held my hand and took me to the bedroom. I sat down on the bed, but he stayed standing up.
"Are you not going to sleep?" My eyes were already closing from how heavy they were.
He nodded and placed the blanket over me. "Just not here. I'll see you tomorrow, alright? Rest well," He kissed my forehead and walked out of the room.

I woke up the following day and headed straight to the living room. I frowned when I saw Nathan lying on the couch with a tiny throw blanket on him. I knew he was going to wake up with intense back pain. I quickly grabbed him a more oversized blanket and placed it over him. He moved in his sleep, and I kissed his forehead. I went to the kitchen, where Lana was already up feeding Elijah.
"I'm guessing the talk didn't go well?" She asked and I shook my head.
"We didn't talk. He got home, took me to bed, and walked out of the room," I served some of the cereal she was eating and sat next to them. "Has Mathew gotten up?"
"No, not yet. Do you really think Nathan is capable of hurting him?"
"I hope not. The last thing I wanted was to come between them,"
"They had their own problems before you. Don't blame yourself for something that isn't your fault,"
"Uncle!" Elijah pointed at the doorway. My heart dropped, and I didn't turn around. I felt a wave of disappointment/relief when Mathew came into view. He grabbed some cereal and ate in silence.
"Elevator?" Elijah turned to look at me.
"There isn't one here. We'll go ahead and find one for you, okay?" I said, and he nodded.
"Uncle!" He yelled again, and this time, I turned around. Nathan stood at the door and rubbed his face. He looked at Mathew and scowled at him. I dropped my spoon on the plate, and Nathan walked away.
"Where is he going?"
"He's still tired," I smiled at Elijah. "I'll go check on him,"
I followed Nathan to the bedroom and walked in after him. He flopped on the bed and groaned.
"You didn't have to sleep on the couch, you know?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I'm fine," He made another funny noise as he stretched.
"You seem really uncomfortable," I walked over to him. "Stressed," I placed my hand on his stomach, and he didn't move. "As if you need to relax,"
I trailed my hand down. He placed his hand on mine and looked down at me.
"Don't,"
"Let me," I moved his hand away and unbuttoned his pants. "Please," He helped bring his pants down, exposing his hard self in front of me.
I positioned myself to where I was kneeling in front of him, but still in bed, and began stroking it. He groaned, and I smiled. I stopped, and he looked down at me.
