Chapter- 13 Family Day

Lore's euphoric state from last night had carried over to the next day. She skipped through the gates of her family's gates. Shinso suddenly grabbed her around the shoulders and stopped her skipping. 

"What the heck?"

"Enough with this skipping."

"Why? I'm happy. Can't I be happy?"

Shinso's sleepy eyes narrowed and asked, "Why are we here?"

"For family day?"

"And?"

"Because Enji wants to meet the guy who... took that photo that he's seriously pissed about."

He nodded that fluffy purple head. "Exactly, so that perkiness you got going on right now needs to stop now."

She held her fists up and nodded enthusiastically. Shinso groaned but released her. "What? I stopped skipping!"

He continued to walk towards the door, so she jogged after him. "Let's get this shit over with." She giggled at his moodiness, and he peered at her from the corner of his eye. "Why are you in a good mood? Your date go well last night?"

"Like super duper well," she whispered excitedly. She grabbed his elbow and swung herself around him. 

"You finally get laid?"

"You see? This is why you never get any pussy! All you think about is sex," she cackled before gripping his hand with hers. "Since we aren't there yet. Dance with me!"

Shinso sighed but suddenly whipped her around. She squeals as he twirls her through the grass. Her head tilted back laughing at him indulging her good mood. Her hand was on his chest while he gripped her waist. They continue dancing until the front door was ripped open. Lore gasped and jumped away from Shinso who let her go lest she trip and fall...again. It was really far too common for a pro hero.

He shoved his hands in his pockets and faced Enji. Enji looked Shinso over from vans covered feet, ripped black jeans, and oversized tshirt over a button up. Shinso sighed and stared back at him with his typically bored lilac eyes. 

I'm so dead. 

Lore skipped until she remembered she wasn't supposed to, so she slowly walked to Enji. She went up on her toes to kiss him on his cheek. 

"Hey Papa."

Enji's eyes body tensed as he looked down at the smiling girl. "Lorna."

"I'd like to introduce Shinso." When he didn't walk over to her extended hand, she snapped her fingers. 

He withheld his groan of annoyance, but he did finally walk over. She held his hand which he had to admit was nice, but the glare he was receiving from Endeavor was not as nice. 

"Shinso Hitoshi, this is Enji Todoroki."

"Yeah I'm not calling him that. How are you doing Endeavor, sir?"

Enji's fiery beard lessened in its intensity. "Are you a hero?"

"Yes sir at Hawks' agency for now."

"Are we really going to do this here? Can't we go inside at least? I smell food!"

Neither man was able to say no to Lore as she jogged inside. She turned around and grabbed ahold of Shino's elbow. "Sorry. I got distracted."

"You fucking left me there," he grumbled at her as they went into the kitchen.

"I know but look..."

She waved to an entire kitchen filled with food. Shinso's mouth fell open making a beautiful white-haired young woman smile behind her glasses which were covered with steam.
