As Izuku was considered quirkless he has friends including Katsuki but when it was the end of their middle school Katsuki brought Izuku to the top of the school and pushed him off of the roof pretending that Izuku jumped off knowing that he killed him. During the time Izuku met Momo and Shoto who really didn't care or mind that he was quirkless and still became friends with Momo gaining a huge crush on him until they stopped hearing from him.

Ochako was dating Katsuki until she heard Katsuki had killed a person who actually came back to life. With Momo when she heard about Izuku who came to her first because he was afraid of what his mother would think of him she was crying with tears of joy that Izuku came back to life who actually didn't die.
