As Momo and her sisters lived under water and have very beaten voices one day Momo saw Izuku floating down into her home as she saw a ship burning and she grabbed him and put him back on shore and saw how handsome he was and grew more affectionate towards him as she sing him a song. One day she wanted to go up on shore but with strict orders from her father she snuck up there from an octopus named Inko (yep how convenient right) and changed her to her human form and took her voice only if she kissed Izuku. If you watched the little mermaid you understand what's this is gonna be.
