Request by @Alstoer1Amber (I don't really have experience with yandere stuff and I was sick when writing this lol, so sorry it isn't the best quality. I know you requested a male reader, but I just didn't mention gender to try and make it inclusive.)
Violence and angst a smidgen
Takes place after Copper-9's core failure, but before N and Uzi met.
Proofread✔Y/n = your name
L/n = last nameFlurries of snow drifted down lazily from the sky. Underneath the rubble of a broken civilization lay what was supposed to be its future; who was supposed to be the future of what was now broken: Y/n. Copper-9 was supposed to be your home.
On 8/5/2154 your broken body was lain in the cryosleep chamber. You were supposed to be the future of nanotechnology in the medical field. Your body still felt broken though. Things didn't feel quite right... you felt less human.
You had woken from the experiment, and had very little clue as to what was going on. Your cryosleep chamber was practically broken, only held apart enough for it to not have collapsed in on you. You were supposed to be let out and fully healed on 2/7/2157, but you didn't even know what year it was. Your chamber's healing process could've been interrupted and you'd been let out early.
As you clambered from the rubble, you saw Copper-9 for what it was now: a snow covered wasteland. You remembered the dazzling lights and research facilities that had once dotted the planet's surface, and wondered what had happened.
You scanned the distance for any signs of civilization and saw a large spire in the distance. It looked to be made of lumpy scrap material, but it was hard to see from so far away. You rubbed your arms, and your breath clouded in front of you. You were glad you could breathe in this inhospitable environment, and hoped there were people in the spire who could give you answers... and maybe food and warm clothes too.

Uzi pulled a pair of welding goggles over her face and watched the sparks from her tools mend the metal that would soon be her railgun. She didn't technically need the goggles, but thought they looked cute. She had even welded spikes onto them.
Uzi pulled her gohgles up onto her head on top of her beanie, and marked notes on her blueprints of the railgun. She needed more scrap, a reliable source of energy, and a spark generator. She'd have to sneak out to get it.
She could go through the vents, but she'd have to get someone to keep watch for her and help her back in if she did; and she found relying on others... unreliable. Uzi grumbled as she got up from her work desk and grabbed the blueprints for her railgun, she'd have to ask Thad for help.
Uzi walked down the long and tight corridors of the place she called home. She came across a door marked 17, Thad's living unit. Uzi knocked politely, and heard scrambling inside. Thad opened the door just enough to look through. "Hey, Uzi!" Thad greeted her warmly and fully opened the door upon realizing it was her.
"What's up with the noise?" Uzi questioned him, crossing her arms. "Cheeto was knocking my stuff off my desk, sorry." Thad laughed nervously. Cheeto was his pet cat Uzi made for him out of spare parts when they were kids. Thad had found a human food wrapper with a cat on it, and it said "Cheetos," so that's what he named his cat. Uzi and Thad got in trouble for having Cheeto, and were supposed to have scrapped him because he was "a waste of parts," but neither of them had the heart to do it.
Uzi laughed, "Well, I need your help collecting some parts. Help me climb through the vents?" She asked him for help. Thad nodded, "But you better get me something good too," he chuckled with a mischievous grin.
