Takes place after episode 2 as though V were trusted and Uzi still talked with N. They're in a poly relationship. >:)
Idk what was going on in my head as I wrote this, but it turned out kinda flat so oopsies-

Uzi hummed softly. The operation was going smoothly so far. V and N were shut down on top of a work-bench in the worker colony with their chests opened up. She was trusted with fixing the two disassembly drones' internal fans. The issue was so simple it pissed her off if she were to be honest. But then again, it was good the issue was easy to fix. She was excited to go outside during the day with her partners.

JcJenson reversed the airflow of their internal fans so disassembly drones couldn't cool down properly. After fixing the airflow problem so heat buildup would be a thing of the past, Uzi noticed a few other issues. JcJenson left a ton of useless programs running, so Uzi closed out of them and force stopped them from running again. That'd also help to leave the battery power alone and fix the overheating problem.

Uzi cleaned out the rest of the drones' inner workings with some controlled compressed air blasts and closed them back up. She was pretty sure they wouldn't need to drink oil anywhere near as often now. Uzi was almost certain N and V could go out in the sun now. A bubbling excitement built in her stomach, thinking of taking her partners outside in the sunshine. She knew N would love the colours, and V would probably enjoy seeing the sky during the day.

Uzi restarted V first, as she was the more patient of the two disassembly drones. Two yellow circles appeared on her visor and an excited smile. "Did it work?" V asked, squirming in excitement.

"Hold on." Uzi huffed affectionately. She was rather proud of her work, and even more proud to see V so excited about it. She only wished Khan was this excited when she showed him her railgun. "First run a scan and make sure everything is working properly."

V followed Uzi's instructions, much to Uzi's satisfaction. "Yeah, yeah. Everything is running perfectly. Can I go outside now?" V shifted impatiently, watching the rising sun's light seep in through the hole that served as a door for the corpse spire.

"At least let me wake up N first." Uzi laughed, ruffling the excited drone's hair. V blushed and crossed her arms, looking away from Uzi in embarrassment. Uzi loved her partners with all of her. They made her feel so accepted, and seeing either of them flustered was adorable.

Uzi powered N on and watched his screen display lines of text showing his progress in booting up. It was rather interesting to watch. Uzi wished she had taken notes on the process, but it was too late when spoke, showing he was awake. "This feels lighter." He yawned, his eyes finally showing up.

Uzi smiled. N was such a lovable idiot. "Yeah, you should be all fixed up. Run a systems diagnostic check just in case though."

N went through the same process V had earlier and found the same results. "Everything is working at optimal rates. Much better than before, thank you." N flashed a bright smile. V gave N a mischievous grin when he said 'thank you.' Uzi would have to find out what that was all about later.

"Alright, you big murder puppies." Uzi chuckled, watching N's eyes widen as he looked outside. Uzi had to admit, their first sun time was just as much an experience for them as it was for her. "You can go see if it worked and the sunlight doesn't kill you."

N grabbed V's hand and bolted into the light, both of them giggling like little kids. It worked. Uzi smiled, satisfied with her work as she watched the two disassembly drones play in the snow, sunlight gleaming off their metallic bodies.

N bounded over to Uzi and hugged her. "Thank you so much, Uzi! It's so cool to see how bright everything is during the day, but it kinda hurts my sensors." Uzi knew N would like the saturated colours of the day. She snuggled him closer, relaxing in his arms.
