PART 17: Difference

The floor was covered in a mess of my clothes as I began to pack my luggage. I'll be going to Doi Chiang Dao with P'Nat's production tomorrow at 12 o'clock. It would take many hours to trek to the hill after travelling by bus for around five hours. Oh, dear. It would be a very exhausting day.

I simply accept to lead the medical team for two reasons. First, because of my own brother and secondly, obviously because of P'Jack as he also acted in this drama. But I don't know...I mean, lately I started to become irritated with him, the feeling that I had never felt in the past 10 years.

How could he be mad at me and say I shouldn't trouble Yin. What's wrong with him? Even Yin himself said I never troubled him, then P'Jack suddenly scolded me while he drove me to my condo. Lmao.

If I knew he would scold me, it was better if I rode a motorbike with the froggy. It feIt a lot brighter.

Ding Ding Ding

My phone rang, indicating there were new messages.

"Let's go to P'Nat's company together tomorrow," Yin said as everyone needed to gather there to take a bus.

But wait. Did he really offer me to go with him? This man has become so weird lately. He also never skipped his appointment. Did I provide him with the wrong medicine? I guess so...

"Is that your wish?" I replied.

"No. I know you are too lazy to drive your own car," he replied within a second, making my lips curl into a tiny smile.

I looked around my messy bedroom. Arghhh!!! What should I bring?! How many clothes?! How many underwear?! Damn it. It felt like I was going to the camp because we were gonna stay there for a month or perhaps longer depending on the situation.

I wanted to take a quick nap before continuing to pack my luggage but the bell abruptly sounded as I closed my eyes. I let out a sigh and plodded over there. What on earth did someone come to my house at this hour.

I looked at the surveillance cameras and I furrowed my brow looking as it was the froggy in front of my house. I gave him a perplexed look as I opened the door.

"I thought you already slept," he said before me having time to open my mouth.

"I'm not."

He nodded and I raised my eyebrows, maintaining my puzzled expression. Did he simply visit my home at one in the morning to pose that irrelevant query?

"Then..."

"Then?" I asked and he cleared his throat.

"How...about my offer? You want to go to P'Nat's company together?"

He attempted to open his mouth again as he wanted to say more but in the end, he just remained silent and waited for my response.

"You're the one who drives, right?" I inquired.

"You think I allow you to drive?" He asked me back, making me bite the inside of my mouth to suppress my smile and looked another way.

"Okay then."

"Okay?"

"Yeah," I gave a brief response and when I turned back to face him, he smiled, causing me to also let out a little smile for no apparent reason.

"Then...I will see you tomorrow," he said, waving at me awkwardly but before he walked away, I gripped the edge of his shirt which made him turn to look at me again.

"Can you help me?" I asked and he arched his brows.
