A/N: The reads are now past fifty and I'm truly amazed! I thought that by the end of the story I would have maybe fifty reads but I never imagined I would get this amount of support, nor that I would have fourteen votes! Thank you so much for the support and I really appreciate every one of you who is reading this! I know I say this every time I post a new chapter but I honestly can't thank you enough! Here's the next chapter so I hope you like it. Comment any mistakes or thoughts on this chapter, I would appreciate it. Ciara x
Chapter 9 Willow’s POV:
I sit in the cold on the pavement watching as all the other fans leave the venue, laughing and talking about how great the show was. It was truly amazing especially with the looks Andy kept throwing my way. I shiver just remembering them.
Soon I’m alone in the street and I feel too vulnerable. I really shouldn’t stay out here too long… That’s when I remember my promise to Mum. Oh shoot. She wanted me straight home. I check the time and I see its half past eleven. Mum will expect me home soon.
I push my aching body off the floor, hating that I’m going to have to leave Andy. I can’t help it, family are more important. He’s taken ages to get here anyway… he probably changed his mind. I walk away my heart aching and text my Mum in the process. I tell her I got held up but I’m on my way home. After a moment, she texts back telling me to stay safe and to be quick. The buses don’t run as frequently this time of night so I have to walk back. I set off down the street, my hands in my jacket pockets and my head downcast. The cold wind bites at my cheeks.
“Willow!” I hear my name being shouted and I turn around. I’m surprised to see Andy running towards me. My heart begins to pound. He didn’t change his mind!
I stay where I am, knowing I don’t have time to talk to him but wanting to stay with him so badly. I’m torn. If I don’t stay and talk with him now I know I will regret it for the rest of my life.
I wait for him to reach me. When he does he looks a bit flustered but he has a huge smile on his face. He’s still wearing his war paint and his suspenders and tight trousers. I smile to myself.
“Where were you going?” He asks.
“Home.” I say embarrassed that I had thought he had forgotten about me. I look at the floor and chew my lip.
“Oh right. Do you want me to go?” He says, in a surprised tone. I look up and see him looking worried. He’s afraid of rejection! That’s something I never would have expected of Andy Biersack!
“No!” I exclaim before I can stop myself. I can feel my cheeks burning. He smiles and the worried look vanishes.
“Do you want me to walk you home?” He laughs and he offers me his arm. I take it, smiling. We walk in comfortable silence for a few moments before I decide to say anything.
“That was amazing.” I say quietly. I look up at him and see him looking back at me a smile on his face.
“The show?” He asks and I nod. “I’m glad you enjoyed it.”
“I more than enjoyed it. I loved it.” I say embarrassed. His smile grows bigger and his eyes brighter.
“Would you go as far as saying the best night of your life?” Andy asks in a teasing voice. I look away from his face laughing.
“Hmmm…Maybe…” I say teasingly back. Oh God are we flirting? No we can’t be! He’s Andy Biersack! And he has a girlfriend!
“Maybe? Just maybe?” He asks looking shocked. He puts his hand on his chest as if it pains him deeply. I laugh. He looks down at me and I almost melt at the expression on his face. It’s so intimate and precious. I want to stay in this moment forever.
