A/N: Thank you so much for the support and I'm truly amazed by it! I never expected this to take off but I am incredibly grateful for the reads, votes and comments! I have more confidence now so here's the next chapter! It's a chapter that isn't as good as the rest I feel but I feel it gives more of an insight into the characters lives. I hope it's ok.  Ciara x

Chapter 4 Andy’s pov:

I stand in front of the bathroom mirror and carefully apply the war paint. It takes time and concentration but I’m used to it, seeing as I do it virtually every day. Ashley sprays hairspray next to me and I gag. I’ve never known a guy use so much hairspray. I stop midway through painting my eyes to punch Ashley’s arm.

“God Ash, tone it down a bit will you?” I say irritated. He just smiles and sprays some more.

“Got to look good for the ladies.” He says and winks. I just roll my eyes and continue applying paint. Once I’m done I move away from the mirror and look at my reflection. My hair is spiked all over the place in its usual style and my eyes are surrounded by spikey paint. I smile satisfied and leave Ash to his makeup. He takes the longest of all of us.

The rest of the band are sat on the sofa talking when I enter the living area of the tour bus. I flop onto the end of the sofa and sigh. God I’m so tired.

“What’s up Andy?” Jake asks. He’s looking at me with concerned eyes. Jinxx, CC and Ashley must have told him.

“Tired that’s all. Stop treating me like I’m ill or something. It’s just a break up!” I say fed up and moody. Not the best way to go onstage. I really should be happier; I have the best job in the world.

They all fall silent and I feel guilty. “Sorry, I’m just tired. You know how I get.”

They laugh and I’m forgiven. Phew.

“One of our last shows tonight.” CC says sadly. I know how much CC loves touring.

“Yep.” We all say, disheartened. I look up at the time. It’s six. We have half an hour before we’re onstage. Hopefully Ash will be done by then.

“Let’s give it our best tonight, make the crowd go wild.” Jinxx says thoughtfully. We mumble our agreement and high five each other.

We run onstage and hear the crowd scream. You can never get bored of this feeling. It always makes me feel incredible and I know the rest of the band feel the same. I grasp the microphone and shout into it the words “WE ARE THE BLACK VEIL BRIDES!”

This sends the crowd into more screams and we begin our first song, New Religion.

Jake and Jinxx come in with the guitars and the crowd start fist pumping the air. I begin to sing.

Welcome to your life

We've got you in our sights

And thoughts of God are better left alone

It's in your head black and blue

What they told you wasn't true

Come along and fight with the unknown

The army's grown

The crowd are crazy. I smile to myself and continue the song.

Once we’ve played a few songs (Knives and Pens, Love Isn’t Always Fair, God Bless You) we begin one of my all-time favourite songs, Saviour. I wrote it for the fans to let them know we are always there, they’re never alone. I notice when we play it what effect it has on the crowd. They all know the lyrics and you can tell how much it means to them. Some even have tears in their eyes.

As soon as the opening guitar begins the crowd hush. I cast my eyes over the crowd and I smile as I begin to sing.

I never meant to be the one who kept you from the dark

But now I know my wounds are sown because of who you are

I will take this burden on and become the holy one

But remember I am human and I'm bound to sing this song

So hear my voice,

Reminds you not to bleed

I am here

Saviour! Will be there

When you are feeling alone, ohhh

A saviour, for all that you do

So you live freely without their harm

So here I write my lullaby, to all the lonely ones

Remember as you learn to try to be the one you love

So I can take this pen and teach you how to live

But what is left unsaid, the greatest gift I give.

So hear my voice

Reminds you not to bleed

I am here

Saviour! Will be there

When you are feeling alone, ohhh

A saviour for all that you do

So you live freely without their harm

Saviour! Will be there

When you are feeling alone, ohhh

A saviour for all that you do

So you live freely without their harm

When I hear your cries:

Praying for life

I will be there.

When I hear your cries:

Praying for life

I will be there!!!

I will be there!

I will always be there!

I will be there!

By the time I finish the song I’m close to tears. This song is always emotional for me to sing but today I feel so much emotion for this song. I look to my band mates and they look amazed too. This crowd is amazing. They cheer us which happens all the time but this feels really special.

“Thank you so much!” I say into the microphone and this makes them cheer louder. Wow.

When we get back to the bus I can tell that tonight has made us all that much happier. We’re buzzing! We celebrate with a beer and we all notice Jake’s hesitation. This makes us all laugh and causes him to get defensive.

“What? I don’t want it to end up being like last night!” He exclaims and we laugh again.

We have a few beers before we settle down for the night. I climb into my bunk and get my laptop out to check twitter. We have loads of messages from the fans thanking us for a great show. I smile and shout to the guys. They come running and smile at the response we have received.

“Tonight was amazing!” CC says and we all nod our agreement.

“Let’s hope tomorrows just as good.” Jinxx says.
