Chapter 25 Willow’s POV:

We walk into Andy’s house and he flicks the light switch. I gasp at the sight before me. After years of living in a house that resembled a tramps hovel too closely for comfort, seeing Andy’s house is like going to heaven. I’m sure to the average person Andy’s house isn’t much of a shock but to us it is.

Everywhere I look I see things that make my eyes widen. No peeling wallpaper or damp spots. The carpets look brand new and aren’t faded. They are unstained and I want to sink my toes into them.

Andy leads me by the hand to the living room, smiling. I see Zack following behind us, our luggage forgotten in the hallway. Zack’s wide eyes look over the walls. He’s just as stunned as I am.

We enter the living room and my eyes widen, taking in the inviting black leather sofas and pristine white walls. It’s massive compared to our cramped living room at home. An amazing feature fireplace sits in the centre of the room and above it is a massive TV.

“Do you like it?” Andy asks, looking down at me smiling. I think he already knows the answer but I reply anyway.

“It’s amazing! It’s so light and spacious!” I say looking away from Andy and instead my eyes drift around the room again.

“It’s so white.” Zack mumbles.

Andy laughs quietly at our reaction. “It’s not that big! It’s the average size of a house in LA.”

“I would love to see the size of the most expensive houses in LA!” Zack says with a laugh. This makes both me and Andy laugh.

Andy then shows us the rest of the house. The kitchen is amazing and contains everything you would ever want. A huge black range cooker sits next to a huge white sink. Above the sink is a massive window which looks out onto what I assume is the garden, although it’s hard to tell seeing as it’s the middle of the night. The upstairs of the house is just as stunning and carries on the white theme that seems to run throughout the entire house. The bedrooms are large and there are three of them. The master is amazing.

“This is really something.” I say taking in the white walls and king size bed with a black and white duvet. It looks massive. A painted black wooden wardrobe sits in the corner of the room, next to it a black dressing table. I assume that was Juliet’s when she lived here.

That thought makes me stop. This room is Andy and Juliet’s. Everything in it shows signs of their relationship. The dressing table is just one of them. My eyes go to the walls where pictures of the two of them hang. My heart stops when I see one of the two of them kissing. It just reminds me that his wounds from Juliet are still raw. They really were amazing together.

I hastily avert my eyes and plaster on a fake smile when Andy speaks. “It’s not much.” He says, shrugging his shoulders.

“It’s nice.” I say, my voice coming out slightly choked. I clear my throat as quietly as I can, not wanting Andy to notice something’s wrong. I look over at Zack and I see him looking back at me, concerned. I shake my head slightly, now is not the time to bring up Juliet’s involvement in this house.
