Taehyung was seated in the office, watching the other board members get up and leave.
He had come in early today, leaving his house at 6 o clock in the morning because this meeting was a very important one which required his presence.
He knows it's not ideal, leaving his mate all alone so early in the morning when he had just confessed to loving him yesterday, but then he also knows that Jungkook understands.
His mate was the most understanding person he has ever met afterall.
After the confession and Jungkook's confirmation of not leaving, they had a heart to heart, discussing the reasons behind Jungkook's impromptu decision of leaving.
After that conversation, everything became so crystal clear. And Taehyung, well, let's just say that if he didn't have an emotional Jungkook in his arms, he would have committed murder.
Nonetheless, he was also glad that he had finally told Jungkook about his feelings. Granted, he had planned to do it much later and in a grand way, there wasn't much he could do. In that moment when Jungkook had asked to leave, all Taehyung's mind supplied him with was that he had to make him stay. And if voicing out what he felt was the solution then so be it.
Jungkook hadn't really responded to Taehyung's confession. The omega hadn't replied back to the "I love you", but that was okay. Because if there is one thing that Taehyung will never doubt in the world, it's Jungkook's love for him. The omega doesn't need to say those three words for Taehyung to know and believe that Jungkook loves him too. The omega's actions and that adoration in his eyes were enough proof already.
"What's got your panties in a bunch?", Jin's voice broke Taehyung's focus from last night's event. The elder was also attending this meeting as he is the co-ceo of their firm.
"Nothing hyung", Taehyung answered, before biting his lips and giving Jin a mischievous look.
"What?", Jin asked, concerned now because Taehyung and that mischievous look meant trouble.
"What do you say about paying someone a visit with me just so I can beat them up?"
Jin choked. Taehyung wanted to do what now?
"Are you crazy? No way I'm going with you to commit potential murder Tae", Jin replied indignantly.
Tae raised an eyebrow at that, smirking because he knows what will make the elder cave.
"Even if it's someone who hurt our precious Koo?"
Jin's expression changed in a second, and without any hesitation he replied,
"I'll get the shovels. Who do we need to kill?"
Taehyung smirked as he got up, ushering the elder towards the exit and to his car as he made a phonecall.
