Life for Jungkook and Taehyung was surely not easy. It was like the seasons, changing so effortlessly at every turn, but after a cold harsh winter, the flowers did bloom like every spring, and now all that was left is happiness and joy.

Jungkook stays seated at the sofa, anxious and full of anticipation, a little scared, a little curious but mostly giddy with joy. He waits as he eyes the clock, watching the minutes ticking by, hoping and praying his alpha will come home already.

Taehyung steps into the house, tugging at his tie messily. His face lights up with a bright smile as he notices Jungkook on the sofa, and softly says, "hey baby"

Jungkook smiles, breathless and giddy, for no matter how much time has passed since they had mated, Taehyung calling him 'baby' in that soft tone of his always made him breathless.

It's been over a year since they mated. And so much has changed since then. Jimin and Yoongi were now parents to a beautiful baby girl who they decided to name in the honor of the little angel they had lost, Nari.

Min-Park Nari was born on a winter afternoon, just as cherry blossoms began to bloom. She was a tiny little pup, and instantly had everyone wrapped around her tiny little fingers with her big, puppy like eyes.

Namjoon and Jin didn't want to have kids yet. They would have to adopt, obviously, but Jin wasn't ready for that kind of commitment and neither was Namjoon. They decided they will most probably adopt some time later in their life, but not now.

Hoseok was happy with his mate too. They got married shortly after Nari was born. The marriage ceremony was held on the beach, just a small intimate wedding. It was one of the best weddings that Jungkook had ever experienced.

Taehyung and Jungkook were simply a happy couple. And like any couple, they were happy despite certain hardships. Jungkook's past still tortured him on some days.

Some days, the voices in his head wins and all Jungkook could do was stare at his reflection and feel like he wasn't good enough. On those days, Taehyung would gently hold his omega in his arms, kiss his tears and worries away as he tells him repeatedly just how lucky he was as an alpha to get the omega as his mate.

There was days when Taehyung's guilt would resurface and the alpha will get quiet and extremely cautious of his actions towards the omega. On those days, Jungkook would shower the alpha with praises and make sure that the alpha knew he was long forgiven.

They argued too, most of the times it was about mundane things. But everything they argued, it was Taehyung who would apologize later, regardless if it was his fault or not. Jungkook would sniffle as well, apologize just like Taehyung and they would hug it out, which will later turn into passionate love making.

Their sex life was thriving, as always. It seemed like time couldn't even change the way they both felt about each other's body, always ready to devour and worship each other. Sex between them was explosive, passionate and full of love.

They were kinky, ofcourse, but some days the alpha would simply show Jungkook how much he worshipped his body, and Jungkook would revel in the attention and love he received from his alpha.

They were happy. And that was enough.

Though now, as Jungkook bit his lips and peered at the alpha with hooded eyes, he suddenly felt extremely nervous.

Taehyung sensed the omega's nervousness and went down on his knees, placing his hands on Jungkook's thighs and asked worriedly, "what's wrong, love?"

Jungkook stared at Taehyung for a few seconds, before picking up a small box that had a small purple ribbon on top of it. He placed the box in Taehyung's hands without saying anything.

Taehyung looked at the box in confusion before opening it hesitantly. His eyes stared at the item in shock, before it got replaced by sheer unbridled joy as he smiled widely, looking up at the omega with teary eyes.

"You're pregnant?", he asked, a laugh escaping him as hugged Jungkook tightly, burying his head in the omega's lap, still sitting on his knees.

Jungkook laughed too, placing his head on Taehyung's, feeling the Alpha shake with sobs in his arms. He could feel the alpha's tears seeping through his shorts, but he also knew that the alpha was simply happy. He could feel the alpha's happiness through their mate bond.

"Yeah. You're gonna be a father, baby", Jungkook whispered softly, still holding Taehyung, placing a kiss on the Alpha's head of hair.

Taehyung sniffles, lifting his head off Jungkook's lap and smiling widely at the omega, tear streaks visible on his face.

"We are having a pup", the alpha muttered in awe, eyes staring at Jungkook in wonder. Taehyung pulled the omega into a kiss, tenderly pressing his lips on Jungkook's.

"we need to tell the others", Taehyung said as he pulled away, getting up and sitting beside the omega, pulling Jungkook onto his lap. "We have to prepare a nursery. Buy baby clothes. Oh and make the house baby proof"

Jungkook laughed at the alpha's excitement, shaking his head as he leaned against Taehyung, hugging the alpha close.

"Hmm... one thing at a time, my alpha. First, let's invite the others for dinner. We can tell them then", he suggested happily.

Taehyung nodded, already having a plan formulate in his head about how he will break the news to the others. He wanted it to be special.

"Yeah. Let's do that baby. I love you so much Koo. Thank you. Thank you so much for not leaving me"

Jungkook sighed, happy and contented.

"I love you too Alpha"

Two days later, Taehyung and Jungkook hosted dinner at their place with all of their friends in attendance.

After dinner, Taehyung looked at the others who were all seated in the living room before sharing a look with Jungkook who happily nodded.

"Guys", Taehyung spoke, hardly being able to control his excitement, "Jungkook and I got you guys something."

The others were visibly surprised and curious.

As Jungkook handed out the small gift boxes, Taehyung pressed the play button on the camera that was situated at the corner of the room to capture everyone's reaction.

"Okay. You can open your gifts now. Do it together though", Taehyung said as he pulled Jungkook into his lap, softly pressing a kiss onto the omega's cheeks.

Everyone opened their boxes to pull out a shirt that said, in bold letter, "Move aside bitches, I'm gonna be an uncle"

Their reactions were definitely worth it as Jimin and Yoongi both yelled, "you're pregnant?"

While Jin teared up, Namjoon smiling widely and congratulating the couple while Hoseok was already shedding tears of happiness.

It was a happy day for the alpha and the omega, and it was just the beginning of their happily ever after.
