Trigger warning: Panic attack (kinda)
- Yoongi stayed by Jungkook's side throughout the whole day. He could smell the scent of Taehyung outside the room, yet the Alpha never came inside.
And frankly, Yoongi was glad about it. He will most probably break the Alpha's bones if he sees him again. So it was probably for the best.
Though, Yoongi also knows that it's very important for Taehyung to be near Jungkook right now.
Because Jungkook was marked so abruptly, the omega might wake up frantic and panicked, and Taehyung may be the only one who could soothe the omega's mind.
That is whenever Jungkook wakes up.
It was nearing evening now, just a little over 7pm when the door to Jungkook's room open slowly, an intoxicating scent invading the room.
Yoongi froze. He knows what was happening. He wasn't stupid. Plus his wolf was screaming at him, repeating one word over and over again.
"Mate"
Fuck. Yoongi doesn't know what to do. He cannot bring himself to turn around and look at the person who had entered the room. He was just so fucking terrified.
"Mate?", a soft, almost angelic voice whispered, sounding a little scared.
Yoongi closed his eyes, calming his raging thoughts as he slowly turned around, opening them to face the person in front of him.
"Mate", he confirmed, eyes finding a beautiful and soft omega, with crescent shaped eyes and big pouty lips.
The omega was really beautiful.
There was no doubt about it.
They kept staring at each other, not speaking a word and no one making a move. Just simply staring, in awe.
The trance was broken by the heavy beeping of the machine, Jungkook's body convulsing all of a sudden.
Yoongi panicked, running over to Jungkook and trying to hold the omega's body down before he hurt himself.
Jungkook's eyes were shut, but it seemed like his body was unconsciously fighting Yoongi off.
Taehyung's scent invaded Yoongi's nose, the Alpha wearing a panicked expression,his eyes silently asking Yoongi to move aside.
Yoongi compiled. Don't judge him. He just cannot see his bestfriend like that and if Taehyung could help keep Jungkook from harming himself, then he would gladly accept the help.
Taehyung wrapped his arms around the shaking and thrashing omega, releasing his calming pheromones and whispering as softly and gently as he could.
"Shush my precious omega. It's alright. It's okay. You're safe. You're here safe in Alpha's arms. I'm right here baby. Calm down."
