she had woken up bright and early monday morning for her first day at work. super excited obviously.

although she could barely sleep saturday night into sunday morning as she had processed what she had done. that she had kissed hyungwon and that he had confessed his feelings. she texted him as normal as he mutually apologized for their accidental kiss. she didn't want it to be awkward between them. even though she knew his true feelings and she was still conflicted on hers.

he texted her this morning to tell her good luck on her first day. kang had brought her a coffee and pastry in the morning too. he was still hesitant on her having a hob but wanted to be supportive.

she was already settled in at her desk, feeling so happy, that she finally did it. did a couple of tasks and was give her work id to get in and out of the building.

it was around 1 when eunji walks over to nari, "how's it going so far?" she asks standing next to her cubicle.

"great," she smiles up at her. "thank you again."

she shakes her head, "no need to thank me. i told you, you have an great eye nari and that's why you are here. speaking of your good eyes, i scheduled to go out to a shoot with dohyun, check your calendar for the information."

nari nods, "thank you."

"oh and nari you have someone waiting you at the front desk." she says before walking away.

nari smiles at eunji as she walks away, knowing kang probably showed up to surprised her for lunch. she stands up from her desk and walks to the front desk.

"hey," the familiar voice says as the smile appears on her face.

"hyungwon," she walks over seeing he had a bouquet of flowers in his hands, pink dahlias. "what are you doing here?"

"thought i'd surprise you on your first day of work, and that i could take you out for lunch." he grins holding out the flowers. "these are for you."

she takes them in her arms as she hears the girl at the desk whisper to their coworker at how cute the gesture was. nari blushes, "thank you. hyungwon you didn't have to."

"i know but i also know how important this is to you," he smiles. "let's go get lunch."

she nods with a smile as walks next to him. her chest was beating fast and she couldn't stop smiling at the attention she received from him.

"so how is it so far?" he asks as they made it outside the building.

she shrugs, "it's good so far nothing to stressful or anything to complain about."

"that's good. i was thinking we could get lunch here? they have good sandwiches." hyungwon says pointing to the restaurant.

she nods her head, "that sounds good."

he walks over to the door and opens it for her.

they sat at the table to eat. but little did the know they were spotted together.

little did they know a photo of them together would be sent to kang.

'is that nari? who's that guy with her?' attached to the text was a photo of nari and this stranger standing in front of the restaurant together, her holding that bouquet of flowers. smiling up at the guy who looked familiar to him but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

kang looked over the photo studying it. he zoomed in to make sure it was nari, because instantly he thought it couldn't be her. he zoomed in on the guy's face. wondering who he was and why he looked familiar.
