"I don't make deals such as that my dear." Alastor let out a hearty chuckle.
"Why not? I'll give you whatever you want in return. Tell me your terms and I'll place them on the table." I responded earnestly. Alastor stood up straight and placed his...
Alastor and I walked in silence for a few minutes down a long brick trail that I wasn't familiar with. Noise of the city seemed to be muffled out by thorny brush and the clacking of our shoes on the pavement. I looked up at the radio demon and he was stood up straight with his arms behind his back a peaceful expression on his face. I hated to admit it but he seemed a bit attractive when he wasn't killing someone. I shook my head and tensed my jaw embarrassment eating at me.
"Have you ever been this way?" Alastor asked me.
"No. I didn't even know there was an actual decent place around here without people killing one another. It almost looks untouched."
The buck chuckled and let out a content sigh. "Not many people do. Of course when you're in hell most selfish ungrateful beasts care about themselves to the point that enjoying the small things no longer matter. Most people wouldn't care for something as simple as this." He looked over at me a wide smile on his face and winked. I felt my face heat up and I turned away keeping my eyes forward. It amazed me that he even cared for things like this. I always thought that he was just a merciless killing machine but right now I'm seeing a very interesting side of him. I wanted to tell him that he didn't seem half bad but he'd probably take pride in that and would feed his ego.
"Hell sucks honestly. If I would've known that it holds such a treasure like this then I guess it wouldn't have been so bad to begin with. Of course it may not be the most lively but it beats nothing at all." I giggled at my comment and was caught by surprise when Alastor chuckled as well. We reached the top of the hill we were climbing and a bench sat perfectly to the view of the city and the full red pentagram moon. An orange glow emitted from the lights of the skyscrapers and I stared in absolute awe. The scene was beyond breathtaking for the poor excuse of eternal damnation. The radio walked up beside me eying my reaction as my eyes twinkled and a small smile rose.

"Hurry up Alastor. You got her exactly where you want her. Now make the deal." My shadow hissed in my mind before i became to distracted by the demoness's fragile features. I closed my eyes and hummed quietly trying to silence the voice in my head. The same voice i dealt with while i was alive now with me for an eternity. The voice i tried silencing for years only to have me suffer more. I cleared my throat and turned on my heel.
"Now you know where this trail is at my dear. Unfortunately though it seems I must be going. Would you like me to accompany you home or shall you stay a bit longer?"
Without turning away from the view Y/n responded softly.
"I'll stay."
I nodded and began my descent back down the trail.
"What are you doing!?" My shadow hissed. "You need to make the deal!"
"Now now. What's the rush? I want the the girl to make a decision quickly too, but first it would be best to steer her into trusting me. If I put a foot out of line she won't agree to my terms. I won't let her get away so easily though." I smiled wide gripping tightly onto my microphone eager for y/n to place her hand out for a shake.

I inhaled deeply, breathing in the subtle scent of burning sulfur in the distance and feeling the gentle heat of hell blow through the strands of hair tickling the back of my neck. The city down the hill sat perfectly with its glowing red giving off an eerie yet beautiful scenery. I never realized how quiet and peaceful it could get here. Not to mention Alastor was kind enough to bring me here. I smiled at his kind gesture but a voice in the back of my mind told me to be cautious. It was also odd that he picked me out of thousands of people to show this place to. Not to mention his sickly sweet demeanor. Something was off but I wasn't sure what and why. I slumped my shoulders my good mood now gone and turned away from the city to head back toward the way I came up.

I kept peering over at my candlestick telephone subconsciously assuming i'd receive a phone call any moment from the little water demon.

((If you don't know, this is a candlestick telephone. Very popular in the 20's and 30's))
I sighed and rubbed the bridge of my nose pacing the room. My shadow snuck out from behind me and hovered around me.
"I've never seen you so bothered by an offer before. Does the girl interest you that much?"
"I don't know. She intrigues me..she's to happy all the time. But, seeing that fear in her tonight was so divine." I shuddered and licked my lips imagining the expression of fear on y/n's face when i tore the two demons apart in the butcher shop. I wanted to see more of that from her. I gritted my teeth together and knitted my brows. I've never been so anxious. At least not in awhile. It's rare to find a form of entertainment as lovely as the demoness. I walked over to my bedside and peeled my shoes off; My shadow still hovering above the red carpet.
"Maybe i could situate a pleasing scenario." The shadow spoke happily.
"Don't tamper with anything. Give it time and she'll come to me." I spoke tiredly. I slid my overcoat off my shoulders and hung it along my bed frame before laying down above my comforter my hands placed over my abdomen. I looked over at my window watching smoke rise from the burning buildings of the city and hummed a quiet tune to myself before slowly dozing off, my shadow fading with me.

I scrolled on my phone going through hellbook ((Facebook)) reading posts from my friends. Both Cherri and Vic were my two closest friends for as long as I can remember. I remember when I first fell I landed pretty close to the entrance of the butcher shop and my boss immediately ran out to check on me. I was freaking out and cried for a long time due to my appearance change. Maybe that's another reason I fell hard for him. I giggled at the happy memory. He's the reason I have a job. Cherri on the other hand..well we didn't get along right away. I think we clicked when I started fawning over angeldust. I think she started to trust me and realized we had a lot in common. It's obvious the spider and her are super close. I swiped down further and saw recommended friends which I usually don't care much to look through but decided why not. A lot of people I had no idea who they were but then I stopped my finger on a particular name.
Mimzy.
The name seemed to grind gears in my brain and I knew I had heard it somewhere before. Then my eyes shot open wide. My grandfather used to always tell me stories about how his dad dated a woman by the name of mimzy. That she was a very sassy but yet self conscious and depressed young woman. She was also a lovely singer and quite a dancer. I stared at her profile picture a moment questioning if she was who I assumed but turned my phone off instead. I'm sure there are several women with that name. I was looking to deep into a lot of things lately. I rolled over on my side in bed and began thinking about Alastor again. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to actually make that deal. I mean the more I process the topic the more I assume that it couldn't be all that bad. I doubt he'd take anything crazy in return..right? I've never heard of anyone doing any of his crazy errands or murders. But, if he chose to show me a nice view such as the trail I saw tonight then maybe I could get him to do other things like that with me. Peaceful walks along the streets of hell, deep conversations with someone who'll listen and even protection..everyone is scared of the radio demon so to have him beside me would have everyone cowering in fear. I felt a smile pull at the corner of my lips and I decided then. I was going to call Alastor tomorrow and make a deal.
