"I don't make deals such as that my dear." Alastor let out a hearty chuckle.
"Why not? I'll give you whatever you want in return. Tell me your terms and I'll place them on the table." I responded earnestly. Alastor stood up straight and placed his...
"What do you mean he's missing!?" Valentino screeched throwing a glass vase against the wall of his office. The young man behind the desk flinched and backed away a few steps.
"I-I'm sorry s-sir. We told him to be here at the specified time b-but he wasn't at the office."
"Fuck! You're useless!" Valentino screamed in the young man's face. "Just, get out. I can't deal with you right now." He huffed and dropped down in his desk chair. The man bowed and scurried out of the office fearfully. The moth man sighed heavily and tapped his fingers against his desk. "Damnit vox, who the FUCK do you think you are running away from me?"

Ziing!
The spear flew and made a thunk sound in a nearby tree before it caught fire and was pulverized to ashes. Vox laughed and watched the beauty of the angelic tool do it's job. He strutted over to the now pile of ash and picked the weapon up. "If this can do that to a tree I am really excited to know what it'll do to Alastor and Val." He spun it around and behind his back when the end caught hold of his suit burning a hole in it.
"Shit."
Vox dropped the spear and grasped hold of his sleeve cussing to himself. "This was a nice suit too. I should be more careful." He kneeled down picking the weapon back up and stared at it a moment. He was becoming impatient. He couldn't wait for the ball.

"Shopping?" I asked Alastor. He nodded his head in response. I raised my eyebrow trying to figure out why he suddenly wanted to spend money on me. After breakfast I came upstairs to brush my teeth and him with his lack of boundaries came strolling through my room saying he wanted to take me out for clothing.
Definitely weird.
"Why do you want to take me shopping? I don't need you spending money on me." I looked back into the bathroom mirror combing through my knotted hair.
"I wish you to have something to wear to this ball my dear. I presume you have nothing, correct?" I slumped my shoulders and groaned. Why would I want to allow HIM to take me? His style of clothing is way to old style for me. Thankfully I was able to get out of that god awful dress he handed me yesterday. Charlie was kind enough to purchase something more of my kind of attire.
"Look dude, it's a kind gesture but fortunately this is no longer the roaring twenties. I'd rather you not take me and choose what would look best."
Alastor tilted his head perplexed. "I never said I would choose the attire y/n. I'll just choose the shop. I know just the place to find the finest fabric!"
I turned to look at him leaning up against the frame of my bed. "Oh really? And where would that be?"

Alastor decided to take me to a shop by the name of rosie's emporium. I was surprised to see that he immediately fell into a conversation with the owner herself and only to find out that she is also an overlord. I gave them both their space and strolled through the aisles of clothing hanging up. It was like a sea of rainbows. So many different colors and textures. There were dresses, jeans, t-shirts, dress pants and so much more! It all seemed to be made by Rosie herself. I was a bit jealous of her skill but also amazed and in awe. I strolled over to the dresses brushing my hands against the line of soft silken fabric when one caught my eye. I pulled it off the rack and my eyes widened. It was absolutely beautiful!
