"You can't escape me, Rathborn. One day, I will find you, and I will have my dagger back." Erkirhul shouted after her as she disappeared into the treetops, hearing the redcaps below.
After a whole hour with jumping from tree to tree she no longer heard nor saw any redcaps down on the ground. The forest were silent as in a graveyard, no bird singing in the night.
She sat down near the top of a tree, so she could look towards the high mountain ahead of her, the moon almost vanishing behind it.
Eve took up a dagger from her pocket, holding it up so it could catch the light of the moon. The blue shaft blinked in the light, casting a special shadow.
"Why would he want you?" She whispered to it, but of course the dagger itself gave her no answers.
She leaned back onto the tree she was sitting in. Her whole body ached after all the running, she had merely gotten a minute of sleep before it was interrupted, but here she was again, sitting with eyes almost closing, far above the ground where the dangers lurked.
Her eyes shut close, sleep consuming her entirely, as a faint whisper sounded from the dagger, and disappeared in the night.
"The queen of the dream realms."

"Eve?!"
I looked up at a shocked Hailen who stood looking at me and Liam at the beginning of the aisle.
"Hai-" I was cut off abruptly.
"Get away from my mate, pup." Hailen yelled, making Liam jump up in fear. Hailen used his werewolf speed apparently, because suddenly he was beside me, lifting Liam up by his neck.
I wasn't going to have any of this, I hated when people didn't listen to me, so I lifted my hands and did a circular motion before pushing against Hailen's side, not really touching him, letting the air do its job. Hailen flew down the aisle a couple of meters, landing with a loud bang.
Liam was dropped to the floor, couching, trying to breath again. I ran over to him, kneeling by his side.
"Are you okay?!"I asked, worry lacing my voice.
Liam nodded, his eyes on his alpha, which had a shocked expression on his face.
"What's going on Eve?" He asked, his voice flat, his eyes glowing like lighting in a storm.
"Come here, Hailen."
"Wha-"
"Just come here." I said again, pointing to beside me as I stood up, bringing Liam with me.
Hailen did as he was told, but with his hands clenched and a angry look at Liam.
"Hailen, do you know who this is?" I asked him, as he came up beside me, placing a hand on my lower back in a protective manner.
"He's Liam Rathborn. Terrible fighter, son of a hunter, half werewolf." He said with gritted teeth. "Dad took him in as a charity case."
"Well, you now need to add another thing to that list. Hailen, I want you to meet my little brother Liam, my only living family on my father's side."
~
Hailen had gone off together with Liam, telling me he needed to talk to him for a minute. Resulting in me warning him not to hurt Liam, or else I would hurt him. It was pleasing to see that even the great Alpha King could become white as a sheet by one of my threats.
