"My lord, I don't think-"
"Come closer." He interrupted her, motioning with his hand for her to approach him. And she did as she was told. As soon as she stood beside his chair, he grabbed her wrist. She felt his nails dig into her skin and some kind of substance spreading through her blood.
"You are going to go out there and exterminate our intruders. Leave no survivors." He commanded, as all she could see and think was that Hailen and his men had to be killed. There was no question in her mind.
And so she turned around, going to fetch her gear and weapons.

Something moved in the corner of his eye, thinking it only was an animal Hailen ignored it for the time being, but when it happened again, closer this time he whipped around to see if he could get a glimpse of it.
The bushes in front of him was rustling, and as he took a step closer something, or rather someone, jumped at him, easily jumping over him and landing on a thick branch stretching over his head.
What now seemed to be a hooded person, a female, drew something out of her sleeve, something slightly long and sharp and seemed to pulsate in her hand. Half of it looked like it was made of smoke being held in place by wired metal, the other half a silver blade, Hailen had only seen something like that once before. On Eve's arm as a tattoo.
It all happened too fast for Hailen to register. One second she was up on the branch, the other she was standing on his left. Before he could do anything to protect himself, or alarm the others, she had pressed the back of the dagger towards the side of his head, and he felt himself fall to the ground and further. His unconsciousness having a mind of its own.
~
Hailen groaned as he came to his senses, slowly opening his eyes to be met by a dimly lit room, a few torches burning in the circle shaped room. His back was against a huge pole, his hands bound behind his back. To his surprise though he was sitting on a wooden stool, a rather hard and uncomfortable one at that. He heard Liam groan beside him, coming to his senses as well, but he was no where near him as the pole was far too thick for that. Hailen's best guess was that the other trackers were seated around it as well, at least he hoped so, not seeing anywhere else in the room they could be.
He managed to shift only the claws on his fingers, and slowly started to rub it against the ropes keeping his hands bound, hoping it would be enough to cut through them.
He felt a presence on the other side of the room, a female one, a safe one, like he knew the person, trusted her even, but how could that be?
There was some clattering behind him, but he had no chance in seeing what the sound was nor who made it.
Footsteps echoed through the room, walking towards the pole. As the footsteps came closer Hailen heard one of the trackers heartbeat speed up, his breath become hitched and he could practically smell the fear in the air.
Liam seems to pick up on the shift in the room as well, starting to hyperventilate and from the corner of his eye Hailen can see Liam shifting slightly, looking frantically around the room.
Something shuffled on the other side of the pole and the footsteps stopped, replaced by the sound of screaming metal filled the air.
"Please, no no no no-" One of the tracers pleaded before being cut of, only muffled sounds coming from the other side of the pole.
