The dark house was silent as in the grave, as expected from a resident for a vampire. She silently rose herself into the room with ease, there was a silent thud as she landed, but it was so little that it didn't have any meaning to it.

Her dark blond hair flowed down her back like a cape, her purple eyes scanning the room for any movements precise calmness. she gripped the silver dagger from her belt of weapons as she walked into the room still looking around for signs of any movements. The dagger was raised in the air in front of her, ready for an attack at any given time.

The door to the dimly lit hallway outside was open as she lurked herself out and continued down the hallway to the far end where a huge dark wooden door was. Small noises came from the room, but it was impossible to tell what it came from and what kind of noise it was.

A small amused smile made its way to her lips when she heard the small noises, seeming to know what they meant.

She closed her eyes in concentration and her smile grew, but the smile was no longer just amused. It was a wicked smile of amusement, one that could make your heart stop in fear.

The noises from behind the door grew more frequent. She opened her eyes, the once so calm purple colour was now radiating, glowing faintly in the dim light. The look in her eyes was more determined than ever as she reached out to the door and opened it silently.

The room was dark, and for a human it would be hard to see the two figures by the bed, one struggling to get rid of the other one laying on top. A man was holding a young girl under him in place, pinning her down by her wrists and his own bodyweight on her.

The male's mouth was attached to her neck, and if one didn't know better, one would think he was merely giving her a hickey. It would have been an innocent action, if it wasn't for the thin line of blood running down the girl's neck and onto the mattress below them, creating a puddle of blood on the floor.

The girl raised her silver dagger in the air ready to stab the male in the back when the floor below her made a sound that made the male spin around with an alert look on his face.

If she was surprised by what just happened she didn't show it and stared back at the male with a controlled expression.

"What do we have here? A little hero coming to save her friend?" The male mocked the girl in an amused tone, seeming to think that the girl was here for the young girl, who was now lying on her back on the bed looking more bewildered than ever.

The girl snickered at the male's comment and gave him the wicked smile she had had on earlier before she entered the room. The male gave her a frown to a reply, confused to why she was smiling at him.

"I never come for humans, vampire." Her voice was filled with venom as she spoke to him, disgust dripped from the last word like she was going to get sick by speaking it.

The vampire looked at her with eyes of a scared man.

"Hunter." He muttered under his breath.

"Indeed, vampire. But I think some words of my title slipped your mind." She looked at him like she was very amused by his bewildered look.

She was having fun.

The vampire's eyes widened even more than they had been a second ago, and he took one step away from her, and the bed where the young girl still laid.

"Don't you know me?" The huntress asked the vampire while awaiting his answer.

But the vampire had no intention to answer her and turned to make a run for it. He was pinned against the wall before he could even reach the door. His eyes wide in fear, and the realization hit him. There was no way he was going to live this encounter though. No one had ever escaped this hunter. The Magi Hunter.

"Oh so you do remember me now, do you?" She whispered to him.

"Ye-yes." He stuttered out.

It was rare to hear a powerful vampire as himself stutter, but this girl could get any creature on the planet earth stutter in fear.

"Say it. Say my name vampire and your death will be less painful." She whispered to him threateningly.

He had heard about her recent kill from some other vampires, and he knew perfectly who she was.

No one had spoken her real name at the time, but he had read all of their thoughts and they all referred to her with the same name.

"Eve the Magi Hunter." He said defeated, knowing his death was upon him, torturous and painful as the stories told of.

"Good vampire." She said like she was praising a dog.

The dagger she held in her hand, which he had not seen she was still holding until now, seemed even more threatening than before. With a little smile on her mouth, she stabbed the knife in his heart. The burning sensation from the silver dagger spread through his body like wildfire, and his world started to fade. The last thing the vampire saw was Eve the magi hunter's smile as she withdrew her dagger from his chest.

Just before the vampire took his last breath, Eve took a step back and lifted her hand up in front of her. A small stream of blood streamed up from the hole in the vampire's chest and formed into a little capsule. Some kind of smoke surrounded the blood and when it vanished, the blood was contained in a little capsule made of glass.

The capsule landed in Eve's hand and she made a swift movement with the hand she was holding it in, and the capsule with blood disappeared into thin air.

The vampire let out his last breath and his body went heavy as his soul left his body. Eve looked down on him, her eyes emotionless. Not wasting any more time on this worthless vampire, she turned her back to him.

The young girl in the bed was crying silently, looking at Eve with a mixture of fear and thankfulness when their eyes met.

Eve looked her deep in the eye before bowing for the girl slightly, then walking out the door and into the night where she had come from.
