Aera POV:
I winced as Yunjin's scream rang across the land. My hands trembled as I quickly began tinkering with the generator in front of me. "Please please please work." One second later and the machine sprung to life rumbling smoothly. A loud roar sounded and I leapt to my feet. The killer called Hoshi a.k.a the Tiger would be here soon, I better run away.
Wasting not another minute I ran towards the two large exit gates at the walls. The lever creaked as I pushed downwards, lighting the three lights on the panel. When it was at 99% I stopped. Ada was hooked while Mikaela, Yunjin, and I were all at full health.
"Ah fuck it." I grumbled.
Silently tapping into my mind, I reached out to my comrades.
"Yunjin, Mikaela can you two hear me?"
"Loud and clear Aera. Are we going through with the rescue plan?"
"Let's get this shit." I replied.
Soon the three girls were around the hook. I nodded and each female got into their positions. Hoshi soon noticed and roared, running towards Mikaela who was closest.
"Urgh thanks." Ada grunted clutching her bleeding shoulder.
"Bodyblock!" I yelled running behind my injured teammate.
I gasped for air at the exit gate making sure that Mikaela, Ada, and Yunjin were ensured to escape. I locked eyes with the killer for a second and paused. The gaze was not just full of bloodlust but of admiration and curiosity? That thought was destroyed as claws swooped downwards. I grunted and dodged sprinting out of the exit gate. I had done it. I had escaped again.
