Chapter 14

Kyujin Pov:

"Wait, you saw her?" Haewon choked out while grabbing the poor man's arm in front of her.

"I mean yeah. Maybe?" Felix spluttered.

I glanced at Lily and Haewon.

"Felix, could you show us the place you thought Aera appeared?"

"Of course."

When we reached the back, Lily got to work. It didn't take her long to discover another broken bottle and damp cloth.

"Is it?" I began to say.

"Yep. Chloroform."

"Chloroform?" Felix gasped.

"Wait, are you guys serious? Should we call the police?" He continued.

"Felix. I need you to keep this under the wraps." Haewon pleaded.

"But but. "

"Felix. Please."

The male let out a groan of frustration before finally meeting our eyes.

"Fine. You guys have 1 week. Then I'm telling Chris."

I immediately hugged the man.

"Thanks man!"

Felix nodded reluctantly.

"Su-re. Just find her quickly okay?"

Suddenly, Lily jumped up eyes wide as she stared at her wristwatch.

"Holy shit guys, we gotta go! Lunch break is almost over! Professor Hongjoong is gonna kill me!"

I gasped and quickly thanked Felix again before dashing out with Haewon and Lily.

"Meet at the west gym after school ends okay?" Haewon yelled as we parted ways.

At The West Gym.

"Okay so what do we have?" I asked, sitting next to my friends on the gym floor.

"Well besides the fact that those 13 hotties as you call them, are totally sus? Yeah we have tons of evidence for that." Haewon muttered before dumping some contents out of her backpack.

I gasped.

"You brought the stuff we found from her apartment? Dude if one of the teachers finds you carrying chloroform you'll be in big trouble!"

"It's fine, I haven't been caught yet have I?" Haewon retorted.

"Anyway, I'm assuming you two have done what I asked you guys to do?" She continued.

"Yep. Studied picklocking  and disarming security cameras for 100+ hours. I'm a master in the art now!" Lily chuckled revealing a small black box filled with metal picks.

"And you, Kyujin?"

I sighed.

"Yeah yeah. I don't know why I got the harder job of the two. First finding out the schedule of one of the guys, then unlocking their locker, grabbing their phone, hacking into it, then finally finding where they live? I mean like c'mon where's equality?"

"You got the address though, right?" Haewon asked, unfazed by my complaint.

"Hmph. It's 5 Bongeunsa-ro 67-gil, Gangnam-gu."

Haewon quickly typed the address into her phone.

"What the hell? They live in fucking penthouse?" She hissed, eyes widening at the image in front of her.

I quickly scooted over.

"Damn! They must be rich!" I commented, nodding in awe.

"You guys seriously didn't notice? The guys have been smelling like Chanel , and have been wearing Cartier watches since day 1." Lily sighed.

"Anyway we need a car. Do any of you drive?" I asked.

"Nope. My family has one car and they'll be pissed if I take it." Haewon replied.

"Same here. I take the bus." Lily added.

"Dammit. We need a car that we can use during the school hours so we can go rescue Aera!" I groaned.

"Are we really going to steal one of the professor's cars?" I continued.

"I don't think that'll be necessary." Lily hummed.

"Huh?"

Lily didn't answer and instead pointed to the door to the gym where five girls were entering.

"Alright girls grab a ball and practice bumping with a partner!" A girl with sharp cat-like eyes called out.

"The volleyball team?" I hissed.

Lily nodded.

"I believe they have a game at 7:00 PM. The van to take them to the stadium will be in the lot till 3:30. We'll just have to convince them to give us the keys for like 2 hours. Hey Ryujin!"

A girl with a gray blueish short haircut turned her head towards us before walking over.

"Wassup?"

"You guys have a game tomorrow right?"

Ryujin nodded.

"Yep! Today's the last practice."

"Can you let us use your van for like 2 hours?" Lily asked.

"Uh. . . well it's school property. I don't know if I can exactly do that. Besides, we need it for transportation."

"We'll be back before 3:30! I promise!" I pleaded.

Ryujin sighed.

"I still can't. . ."

"Ryujin, remember that certain test I saw you 'pass'? Wanna hand over the keys for the car now or do I have to tell Professor Yunho you got that 100% through less than legal methods?" Lily hummed.

"Ugh. Fine. But you guys better be back in 2 hours. No more."

I smiled.

"Thanks so much!"

"Uh huh. Your promise to keep the test a secret?"

All three of us nodded.

"Alright then. I'll get Yeji to put the key in Haewon's locker tomorrow morning. You guys do you."

"Hey Ryujin! Are you gonna warm up or not?" A girl with blonde hair and big eyes called out from the other side of the gym.

"Yeah I will, Yuna! Be right there!"

Ryujin turned towards us before leaving.

"Hey I don't know what you guys are planning to do, but good luck."

I smiled.

"Thanks. Good luck with your game as well."
