22 year old Lee Dauen only meant to help an injured man when she patches up Choi Seungcheol on that one dark and stormy night. Little did she know that he was the mafia boss of the lead gang in Seoul. As a friendship blooms between her and Seungcheol, the male soon comes to suspect that the leader of the gang in Daegu, Yoon Jeonghan has been poisoning him in order to take over his territory in Seoul. With that news, Seungcheol decides to play a little trick. Instead of handing over Seoul to Jeonghan, why not hand it over to the innocent citizen who knows nothing of the mafia world? That is how Lee Dauen finds herself the leader of the top mafia gang in Korea. Jeonghan soon arrives to find out why the heck his promise was broken. The promise was surprise surprise Seungcheol had promised that if he died his territory would go to him. Jeonghan expects a hardened criminal but instead he finds a delicate rose. Chapter 1 teaser: (Dauen POV)
"Hello?" I called out.
There was no response, except for heavy breathing. Working up my courage, I hesitantly approached the source of the noise, which had now increased to mild cursing of "Shit." and "Goddamits." When the flashlight from my phone shone onto the hidden person I let out a loud gasp. There, lying in a pool of blood was a young man about 28 years old, with two toned colored hair consisting of dark brown and ashy silver that reached his shoulders. The male seemed to be in a great deal of pain as his long eyelashes were wet with tears and his chest heaving in and out with ragged breaths. I quickly knelt down by him.

"What's your name, young lady?"
"Lee Dauen, and yours?"
There was a pause.
"Oh, you don't have to tell me your name if you don't want to-"
"Choi Seungcheol."
Chapter 2 Teaser (Dauen POV)
"You just brought him into your apartment?" Karina hissed as we ate outside in the university's courtyard.
"Yeah. He was injured. I couldn't just leave him there."
"Dauen! Haven't you considered the question why he was out there bleeding on the ground?"

We both looked and quickly realized that a crowd had begun to gather around the street where a shiny black limousine had parked. From it a man with white hair stepped out. I immediately noticed his eyes which were in the shape of 10:10. The male scanned the crowd before whispering something to a male student in the crowd. The boy turned and my eyes widened when I saw him pointing to me.
"What the?" I stuttered.
I sat there frozen as the charismatic man approached me, stopping when he was about a foot away from where I was sitting.
"Miss Lee Dauen?" He asked.
I dumbly nodded.
"Who are you?" Karina spoke coldly, wrapping a protective arm around my shoulders.
"Hoshi. An assistant to Mr. Choi, of whom I believe Miss Lee is acquainted with."
Chapter 3 Teasers (Dauen POV)
I don't mean to be rude, but what do you do to amass all this wealth?" I questioned.
"Bold huh?'
"Oh I'm sorry if I said anything offensive-" I spluttered.
"No. No. It's fine. I run a business that specializes in producing weapons and defenses for the army."

I smiled.
"Thanks Seungcheol. You're a good man as well."
Seungcheol's smile suddenly stiffened momentarily, but quickly resumed its gentle form.
