Chapter 28

Aera's Pov:

"Park Aera. Don't you dare fucking cry! I swear to god, if you ruin my work of art, I will gouge out your eyes!"

I chuckled and held still as Haewon finished the last touch of mascara and eyeliner. Behind me, Lily continued to gently brush my hair and braid it into an ornate bun. A few steps away, Kyujin was working tirelessly on creating the perfect flower bouquet.

"Babe, don't be so harsh on Aera. She is getting married after all." Jaemin smiled as he hugged his girlfriend's waist.

"Na Jaemin! Not now! Can't you see I'm busy?"

"But I want attention!" Jaemin whined.

"Aera needs to look perfect on her wedding day! Goddammit Jaemin!" Haewon snapped, swatting at her partner's hands.

I smiled. Wedding day. That was right. After escaping the game, Seventeen had been forced to agree to release me and my friends. While the members were open to letting go Haewon, Lily, Kyujin, Jaemin, Chris, Felix and I, all hell broke out when the topic came to Jun and Minghao. Hoshi had begun to hurl insults left and right, while Mingyu and Jun were in a messy brawl on the floor. All fighting stopped when the Entity entered the room.

"Gentlemen. Remember the deal. Miss Aera has fairly won, and I now order you to uphold your end of the bargain."

"You can't be serious, Sir! She totally fucking cheated!" Hoshi roared.

"I did not!" I screamed back.

"Yes you did! Getting Minghao's help is totally a breach of rules!"

"It was my choice to leave!" Minghao protested, while struggling to separate Mingyu and Jun from each other on the floor.

"Are you really going to support this?" Mingyu spat, standing up.

I winced and quickly made my way over to Jun.

"Hey, is your shoulder okay?" I whispered scanning over the male.

"Yeah."

I heard a groan from Wonwoo.

"What the hell happened between you two?"

"They kissed!" Jaemin piped up.

There were several loud protests at that sudden news.

"What the fuck Park Aera?" Jeonghan snapped.

I gulped as the handsome man stepped forward, eyes burning with rage.

"Don't. Leave them alone."

Minghao suddenly appeared, blocking Jeonghan from approaching further.

"Traitor. . ."

"Sure. You can be made at me. Just don't hurt them."

"Why do you care so much about those two?" Jeonghan hissed.

"I. . ."

"Enough."

We glanced up at the Entity who was smirking.

"You guys are lucky I'm a sucker for love stories. Jun. Minghao. You may leave with Aera."

"WHAT?" Mingyu exploded.

"Kim Mingyu. Hold your ground!" The Entity ordered, eyes lighting up a bright red.

The giant growled but complied.

I smiled as a portal appeared, ready to take my team home.

"Well then. Peace losers!" Haewon smiled before leaping into the purple light.
