Jun Pov.

Joshua and I hadn't spoken to each other since that day. As the bell rang signaling lunch, I followed my brothers down the hall towards the cafeteria. As I passed the hordes of other students I overheard a girl say,

"Kyujin, where are you going?"

I was unable to hear the response but as I listened harder I managed to catch a few more words.

""Idiot! We have to go, we have only two hours, remember?"

I stared at the retreating trio of girls. As I thought it was none other than the remainder of the fencing team, Lily, Haewon, and Kyujin.

"Hyung? Are you coming to lunch?" I heard Minghao ask.

I shook my head.

"I'm not feeling too well, today Hao. I think I'll head home."

The male frowned.

"Are you sure you'll be okay driving home? I can take you if you want."

I smiled reassuringly.

"There'll be no need for that.

"If you say so. I'll get the keys from Jeonghan hyung."

After receiving the car keys I made my way to our car. Jeonghan had assured me that the rest of the boys would take the bus so I didn't have to worry about taking the vehicle. As I started the engine a white van passed by me. Glancing towards it I noticed the familiar red hair of Kyujin. Were they doing what I thought they were doing? Wasting no time, I started up the car and began the short drive to the mansion. When I arrived I noticed that the white van was also here.

I slipped inside the house via the backdoor and quietly tiptoed to Aera's room. Pressing my ear to the door I was able to hear four female voices talking.

"Aera! Oh my god, you're okay!"

"How did you guys get in?"

"Through the window. We're here to rescue you, baby!"

"Really?"

"Hell yeah! So um can you walk? We got a car outside."

There was a slight pause.

"What's wrong?"

"I can't. . ."

I heard Aera whisper. I tightened my fist.

"No, you can escape Aera. . . you can." I muttered.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" I heard someone yell.

"Punishment for my escape attempt." Aera responded with no emotion etched in her voice.

"Well you certainly are not staying here another second longer."

There was the sound of a rope being lowered then the low roar of a car leaving the property. After I was sure the girls had left, I slowly pushed open the door. As I had hoped Aera was gone. I glanced around the room and began to remove all the hidden cameras and microphones. After taking the equipment down I carried them to the fireplace in the living room. I smiled sadly as I watched the items burn in the fire.

"Hopefully this helps. . .Park Aera. I hope this stalls the others from following your trail. Even for a little while."

As the last of the film turned to ash, I glanced back at the kitchen clock. Shit. It was almost 3:30. The others would be home soon, and then what? Surely they would find the fact that I was still up and fine suspicious! I quickly made my way over to the kitchen's knife block. My hands trembled slightly as I ran my eyes over the sharp blade. Aera. . . she was a fine young woman. One who deserved freedom and a chance to have her own life. One who had feelings and shouldn't be treated like a plaything. I breathed a shaky sigh. It was now or never.

"Time to make a scene I guess." I muttered before plunging the knife through my stomach.

I fought back a scream and fell to the ground, blood pouring out of my now wounded abdomen. I smiled as the darkness closed around me.

"HYUNG!" I woke to the sound of a high pitched male voice screaming near my ear.

As my eyes fluttered open I realized I was lying on my bed surrounded by the worried faces of my brothers.

"Oh my god are you okay? What happened?" Seungkwan blubbered tears running down his handsome face.

"I'm not dead yet, Boo Seungkwan. I'm fine." I muttered.

"Fine my ass. Do you understand how much of a fright you gave us Wen Junhui?" S.Coups snapped.

"Yeah. We came home expecting for everything to be normal to only find you lying in the kitchen with a knife through your gut and Aera missing!" Hoshi added.

"Speaking of Aera. Where did she go?" Wonwoo asked, eyes darkening.

"I don't know. I simply entered the mansion and was attacked suddenly by a masked figure." I lied, maintaining a straight face.

"Male or female?" Jeonghan pressed.

"Male." I replied.

"Any descriptions?"

I swallowed.

"5'7" to 5'10". Fair hair. Deep voice." I fabricated.

"Alright did they take Aera as well-'' Dokyeom began to say.

"Guys let's let him rest." Minghao sighed.

I smiled gratefully at the fellow Chinese as the members began to leave the room.

"Thanks."

"No problem, hyung. Get some rest." Minghao whispered.

As the door closed I sighed. Part 1 of the deception had been successful. I only had to keep this up for a while longer. Hopefully my lie hadn't gotten anyone else into trouble. If only I knew what was going to happen in the future. . .
