Haewon Pov:

The map had changed to some sort of chapel. Chapel. I groaned. This was Joshua's territory wasn't it? I ran along and soon spotted Kyujin and Lily working together on a generator nearby.

"Fuck it man." I hissed.

Although it was selfish I was a bit curious about the area and wanted to have a look around despite Aera's orders not to. After a few rounds of searching, I saw another empty generator. Acknowledging that I was simply wasting time by walking around aimlessly, I sat down and got to work.

I gasped as I was suddenly pushed off, landing a few feet away from the machine, my back painfully scraping against the rocky ground. Just as I had predicted the perpetrator was none other than Joshua, clad in a dirty bunny mask, and overalls. He looked strangely attractive except for the large bloody hatchet that was in his hands.

"Hello there my dear." Joshua smiled.

"Fuck you." I hissed before dashing off.

I rushed towards the chapel and hopped in by jumping over a window. Heaving a several deep breaths I reached out in my mind to the others.

"Hey guys? The Christian dude is after my ass!"

"Really? Tell me if the fucking goes well!" Kyujin cackled.

"KYUJIN!" Lily chided.

I rolled my eyes.

"Not like that you idiot!"

"Sorry sorry. Anyway, is he still after you right now?"

I glanced behind me at a boarded up doorway.

"I think he stopped actual- WOAH!"

I screamed as the male burst open the door sending splinters of wood every which way.

"Found you."

Scrambling up, I noticed a bloody prayer bench in the center of the room laying haphazardly before a chipped Jesus statue. I was desperate. So I quickly knelt down and clasped my hands together in a prayer position. Just as I sensed Joshua's blade coming down onto my trembling form I spoke suddenly,

"Don't."

"What?" The male responded, sounding confused why I wasn't screaming in terror.

"I'm busy right now can't you see?"

"Doing what?"

"Praying to the saints of course." I lied hoping that Joshua hadn't noticed the slight tremor in my voice.

"For what? To save you?"

"No. I'm praying for his holiness to forgive you and cleanse your soul. As Luke puts it, 'Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.'"

Joshua huffed.

"Of course I know what I'm doing. It's murdering all of you guys. Except Aera of course."

"That's not very christian of you." I sighed.

"Well. . ."

And that was how I managed to hold off Joshua for 10 minutes by talking about his religion. . . and playing Go Fish with some cards that I found magically in my coat pocket.

"God! I give up!" Joshua finally groaned, slamming his knife down onto the dirt.

I grinned.

"Sorry bud. Wrong card. Go fish."

The male cursed under his breath before begrudgingly taking a card from the center pile.

"Goddammit. Another useless one." Joshua muttered.

"What the hell is going on over there?" Kyujin shouted from inside my mind.

"Yeah. And where the fuck is the killer? Even Aera's helping Kyujin and I with gens!" Lily added.

"The map's about to change to. . ." Aera murmured.

I glanced at the male in front of me.

"Sorry Joshua. Looks like I gotta go."

Joshua snapped his head toward me in shock.

"What? But our game!"

I chuckled and took a deep breath as purple light enveloped the area. I felt my body beginning to disintegrate and quickly smiled at Joshua as I disappeared.

"Thanks for not killing me. Ta ta!"
