8 | Malleus Draconia

- Diasomnia Dorm -

As (Name) opened the door of Diasomnia, she saw a man sitting on the couch. He has pale skin, glowing green eyes, and a pair of large black horns that extend from his long, dark hair. Her form went back to its human one, making the man give her a raised eyebrow...

     "Hello, sir," she greeted and smiled at him. She sat in front of the couch, "Would you like a cup of tea? Or any drink you desire to soothe your body?" She offered.

     "A tea will do," he told her. "Right away, sir," she bowed and left the room. Unbeknownst to her, the man was intrigued by her aura as well and it reminds him of his own. Her smell is quite unfamiliar, a mix of sweet, yet poisonous ones.

     She came back with two tea cups and a teapot, sitting on the chair once again. Taking a small plate and a cup, she served tea to the mystery guy, "Here, sir. I hope you'll like the way I have made it for you." She said with a smile on her face.

     The man nodded and took a sip, surprised at how it tasted, "This is just right for my taste. Thank you," he smiled at her, returning the kindness she gave him. "You seem to be the rumored new student in Diasomnia. It is a pleasure to meet you, Barbatos."

     (Name) took his left hand, kissing it, "No, it's a pleasure to meet you, sir. I'm only a mere student after all and it must be a mistake that I got here, yet I was selected to a dorm. Nothing special if I must say," she told him. "And you are?"

     The man shook his head, not wanting to introduce himself, "Let us leave the introduction for the near future. For now, you can only know me by using a nickname for me," he told her. He finished his tea and stood up, placing a hand above her chin, "You should be taking a rest now, Barbatos. We still have classes tomorrow, you see?" He said before taking his things with him.

(Name) tried to know his name, but to her dismay, something or someone is not letting her do so. Her powers are limited in this world which explains its inconvenience. With no other choice, she just fixed the platters to take a rest as well...

- Diasomnia Dorm -

(Name) woke up too early to cook her breakfast, she couldn't forget Yuu's painful groans once she finished the ritual. She wished she have her phone to take a photo of his face...

     "Good morning, Ma'am," the same cabbage man appeared outside her door once she left the room. He was unusually nice or is it just her? "Forgive my actions last night. I have come here to apologize because of it."

     (Name) smiled and pat his head, "It is fine, I forgive you. Just don't do it again or you'll receive a fate much worse than anyone has experienced if they failed to gain my trust." She assured and warned him at the same time.

     "Sebek Zigvolt! You can call me Sebek, Ma'am!" He introduced himself, shaking her hands. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ma'am! I have heard you go with two names—"

     She placed a finger on her lips, silencing Sebek, "Calm down, I'm not in a rush. You can call me (Name) or Barbatos, both of them are me after all." She properly introduced herself. "Now, I have other things to attend to. I hope we may meet again later, Sebek-san."

Sebek was happy to be acquainted with another shady, yet a nice student in Diasomnia. He knew she was like his Master, two masters are better than one. As she leaves the dorm, she could feel someone watching her from afar...

- Cafeteria -

Whispers are heard as (Name) walked through the corridors of the school, some students were scared of her presence and the rest wave at her, making her return the gesture. Diasomnia is filled with quiet, yet strong magicians which explains why (Name)'s presence is enough to make one run away from her...

     Not until a group of students blocked her way, they're from Savanaclaw because of their ears, "I would ask you to get off my path, please. It's very rude to block someone's path if you know they're going inside a room, isn't it?" She told the students.

     "Who are you to order us? Oh right, Diasomnia students feel like they're superior," One of them mocked (Name). "Beat her up."

     (Name) sighed at them since it seems convincing them won't work anymore since they have brought some magical pens out of their pockets, "I have warned you. Don't blame me if I have broken a bone or two." She smiled at the group of students.

Before they could even attack her, a spawn of black hands appeared behind (Name) and it grabbed all of the students in one go. Barbatos slowly walked towards them, with her fist curling up and it made them yelp because the grip of the black hands is making them slowly die due to lack of air. Placing her hand on her lips, she let them go...

     "I advise you to not anger me," she told them and knelt to make them hear her. She smiled in a sick way, "You might not see the sun tomorrow if you do so." She warned and left them shivering in fear.
