- Cafeteria -

(Name) sighed as she sat beside her dorm mates, who looked worried about the demoness's attitude. Professor Crewel might've given them a high score—still has a minus five for ditching his class—but Vil wasn't satisfied by it, so he told the demoness to come to his dorm to make her pay for what she's done...

"You look tired, (Name)-sama! Do you want me to order you food?" Sebek offered, wanting to be the demoness's attention. She, on the other hand, shook her head in response, "No need to, Sebek-san. I'm perfectly capable to do it myself, but I appreciate your offer."

"Today's a special day that happens once a month! A special bakery is sent to the school to promote their pastries! Make sure to order before it sold out~!" The Cafeteria ghost yelled

"Oh, look!" Lilia pointed to the cafeteria lane, filled with students. "Seems like your juniors are making another brawl again. They're a bunch of trouble magnets~," he chuckled while watching them.

Grim was fighting a bunch of seniors over cutting the lane to get the last deluxe minchee katsu sandwich. Yuu, Deuce, and Ace tried to stop the grey cat of course, but to their dismay, they got into the middle of the fight with the seniors. The demoness touched her forehead in embarrassment, almost on a brink of leaving this world any moment...

"Grim, stop it!" Deuce yelled, pulling the grey cat out of the line, but the cat still ordered some food to complete his meal. Yuu bowed for the inconvenience, "I'm so sorry, everyone!" He apologized on behalf of Grim.

"I'll have roast beef and lettuce panini!" Ace ordered, squeezing himself into the lane. "Ace, not you too! Stop cutting in line!" Deuce yelled, pulling Ace's collar.

"Aw, man~!" Ruggie sighed as he saw the menu in the cafeteria. "The deluxe minchee katsu sandwich is already sold out, Leona-san will kill me..." He muttered.

Grim hummed happily as he carried his meal with him, "The taste of victory~! I should enjoy every single bite of it~!" He exclaimed. Ruggie saw it and immediately went to Grim's side, kneeling to his height, "Hey, there~! You did a good job managing to get the last deluxe minchee katsu sandwich~!" He praised the cat.

"Huh? Why do you care so much about it?" Grim asked the hyena, who was grinning widely. "I have to get that sandwich at any cost, but I sadly missed it since it already sold out. I'm here to make a bargain with you—could you trade your deluxe minchee katsu sandwich with my mini-past bean bread?" The hyena offered the bread in front of Grim.

Before Grim could decline the offer, the hyena placed his arms in front of him and somehow Grim also did it, giving the deluxe minchee katsu sandwich to Ruggie. The hyena bid goodbye to the cat as he placed the bread on his plate, leaving Yuu astounded because of Grim's actions. Never he thought that he'll see Grim give his food, but it seems that something is wrong...

Grim was sobbing as he devoured his lunch, while Deuce and Ace gave him a disgusted look, "He kept sobbing about giving the food to that guy after devouring his whole lunch," the salmon-haired stated. "Then why did you trade your food to that guy in the first place? That's so dumb of you, Grim," Deuce stated.

"I DIDN'T TRADE IT! WHEN HE PLACED HIS HAND IN FRONT OF HIM, I ALSO COPIED IT SOMEHOW! THE BARGAIN WAS OVER AND HE RAN AWAY WITH IT!" Grim complained, raising his tray. Ace laughed at the cat's misery, "So you went with the flow, huh? Don't worry, it happens sometimes," he assured the crying cat.

"It's not that! It's—AHHH! IT'S AT THE TIP OF MY TONGUE!" Grim yelled in frustration. "I'm annoyed, so I'll just eat more! Deuce, give me some of your pasta!" He demanded. Deuce slapped the cat's hands, "Don't steal my food! Stop it!" He pushed Grim's head.

"I almost forgot, the Headmaster wants us to go to his office room later," Yuu reminded them. "I wonder what he wants now? Anything that comes out of his mouth is nothing, but disaster," he added.

"I agree with that honestly," Ace nodded as he chew his meal. "I'm betting it's probably from what happened to our dorm leader the day before yesterday," Deuce commented.

"The evil berserk state, you mean?"

     "Yeah, that."

Meanwhile, with the calm demoness on the Diasomnia table, someone from Octavinelle went near her. The student was shaking in fear as he gave an invitation to the demoness, who was questioning who send the invitation. *Beep* "Open it, (Name). Don't do any reckless moves or they'll take advantage of it," the unknown sender said...

There was an insignia of Octavinelle dorm at the back, giving the demoness a sign of who might've sent it. Opening the letter, she read the contents and that's when her calm facade turned into a sharp gaze toward the letter. There read: Ms. Barbatos, we're hoping to see you in Octavinelle's Monstro Lounge. I, Azul Ashengrotto, shall welcome you wholeheartedly. I have a proposal as compensation for hiding your little child from the Headmaster...

"Who's the little child he's talking about?" Lilia asked, peeking at the letter from the demoness's shoulder. "My hedgehog. Do you remember? Luke?" She replied and continued reading the letter.

"The dorm leader of Octavinelle is pretty suspicious," Lilia told the demoness. "You better be careful or you'll get into his net~," he snickered.

The demoness stood up and left the table to go to the Hall of Mirrors, aware that Luke disobeyed her. Jade and Floyd must've taken the chance to catch the attention of the famous Barbatos of Diasomnia, perfect opportunity for Azul...

*Beep* "(Name), the bargain isn't hard. Don't worry, but be careful about the things you do. They have eyes everywhere."

- Botanical Garden -

"Leona-san, I'm back with lunch~!" Ruggie called for the lion, unable to find his sleeping form. Just then a loud yawn was heard nearby, "It's already afternoon?" He asked, rubbing his eyes.

The hyena rolled his eyes and gave him the plate of lunch he took, "Did you fall asleep for almost the whole day again? I won't be surprised you'll fail another class," he said to the lazy lion. Then the said lion sniffed, "Seems like you got what I want."

Ruggie grumbled as he crossed his arms in front of the eating lion. Leona Kingscholar is the second prince of the Afterglow Savanna and that means he's not the crown prince in any case. Ruggie Bucchi, the servant of Leona and considered one of the middle classes...

"Leona-san, don't forget the Magical Shift Tournament meeting later," Ruggie reminded. Leona clicked his tongue in annoyance, making Ruggie irritated on how the dorm leader of Savanaclaw neglects an important meeting, "As the dorm leader, you get the big room. It's not like you got it for free!" The hyena said.

The lion just nodded and went back to sleep, telling Ruggie to wake him after lunch. Leona's magical pen is getting covered by black ink, unnoticed by both of the hybrids. Ruggie, on the other hand, recognized Yuu and Grim somewhere, but can't remember where...
