One week later.
Liam's POV
"Liam! Hurry up or you're going to be late!" I hear my mom shout.
"I'm coming!" I yell back, seeing it was already 5:30. The dance was only two and a half hours away.
I head downstairs and take another quick check in the mirror. I looked decent, to say the least.
"You look amazing," my mom says, coming up beside me. "She's going to think so too."
"I think she will be the one that looks amazing, not me," I say, smiling.
My mom smiles. "You both will."
I head for the door and grab our corsages. "Bye Mom!"
"Bye honey, have fun!" she says as I close the door behind me.
Getting inside my car, I set the flowers down and start the engine.
"Deep breaths Payne, you've done this before. She's your girlfriend, you know her more than anyone. It's going to be alright," I say out loud, taking a few deep breaths.

"Hello Liam, come on in," (Y/N)'s mom greets me.
"Hello Mrs. (Y/L/N), how are you?"
She smiles and closes the door behind me. "I'm good, how are you?"
"I'm good, thank you."
"She'll be down in a minute," she tells me. I nod and sit down on the couch. Her mom follows me and sits down in a chair. "Wow, don't you look handsome."
I give her a shy smile. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," she grins. "Would you like anything to eat or drink?"
"No, thank you," I grin again, glancing upstairs.

(Y/N) comes down five minutes later. She comes down in a beautiful light blue dress and her hair is pinned up (in picture above). Wow, she looked so beautiful. I must get lost in my thoughts because (Y/N) starts calling my name.
"Liam? Liam!" (Y/N) calls over to me, a laugh getting added in at the end.
I snap out of my thoughts. "What? Oh, sorry," I look at her and try to hide my blush.
"It's alright," she smiles, her eyes glistening with the perfect smile. "You ready to go?"
"I'm suppose to ask that...," I laugh nervously.
"Well, too bad," she sticks out her tongue, then gives me another perfect smile.
"Alight you two, you better get going," her mom jumps in.
"Okay," (Y/N) says, heading for the door.
I walk up to her and grab her hand. She gives me another smile and glances back at her mom.
"See you later, Mom."
"Bye. Have fun you two. Be back here by midnight!"
"More like 11:30, Mom," (Y/N) laughs.
"Good idea," her mom laughs too.
"Bye Mrs (Y/L/N)."
"Bye Liam."

"Come on, Li!" (Y/N) begs once again.
"But I don't want to, we just danced to five other songs," I whine and lean against the wall of the school's gym.
