Harry's POV
I walk down the sidewalk of my street and look up at the clouds. I found them peaceful on a stressful day. They helped relieve the stress and gave me a distraction from my thoughts. Today had not been a great day. I almost failed a test and I was about to ask Andrea to the football game tomorrow, but she had been talking to some guy. It hurt me to see her with another guy. I wasn't sure if it was just a friend of hers, or a guy hitting on her and she was allowing him.I was currently heading to Liam's house. Maybe he could help me out on this. I know he had walked home with (Y/N) this afternoon, but maybe they were finished with their project. I hadn't text him to check, so I hoped he wasn't busy. He lived only two streets away and I felt it was good for me to walk. I was now on the street between our houses and notice the wind was picking up. I zip up my Adidas hoodie and continue to walk.
Ten minutes later I arrive at Liam's house and see the sky was getting a little darker. It was now about six o'clock at night and a light was on in the living room. I head up be driveway and knock on the door, waiting for an answer. A minute later Liam answers, grinning. "Hey Harry, what's up?" "Uh, is (Y/N) still here?" "Yeah, is something wrong?" "Oh, I just wanted to talk about, uh, Andrea." "(Y/N)'s best friend?" I nod. "Ohhh, her," he smirks. "Oh shut up," I try to say seriously, but blush a little. "Awww," Liam coos. "Oh stop, says the guy who has a girl in his house, working on a project together, and wants to ask-" He covers my mouth. "Shhh, she's literally in the kitchen," he says quietly." He uncovers my mouth. "Ohhh, my bad," I smirk back.
He rolls his eyes just as (Y/N) appears at Liam's side. Liam notices and smiles, "Hey, I thought you were making hot chocolate." "I was," she smiles back, "but I heard talking," she continues, looking at me. "Oh, I was just checking if you were here. I uh... wanted to talk to Liam about something," I say. "Actually, he wanted to talk about Andrea," Liam tells her, looking at me first and then (Y/N). She laughs and rolls her eyes. "What?" I ask worriedly. "Oh, nothing. It's just that... She talks about you ALL the time," she tells me, smiling and laughs again. I was shocked. She talked about me? "What does she say?" "Oh, just the usual girl talk. Things like, 'Harry's so cute. He looks so damn good in his jersey. Harry hates mayo too! Harry looked at me again (Y/N)! Harry-'" I smile and blush, saying, "Really?" "Oh yeahhh," (Y/N) answers. "Trust me, she likes you, and wants to open up to you, but doesn't know how."
My thoughts start to overlap each other. What would I do? How should I talk to her? What should I say? "I want to ask her to come to the game tomorrow, but I don't know how," I say, sighing and looking at the ground. "Well, just going up to her at school tomorrow would make her day. She's been dying to talk to you and would love to try to open herself up to you. You could ask her in a note, she's a sucker for old school things. I do too, but," she glances at Liam then looks back at me after a moment, "I know her well enough to be able to tell you what would make her day. She likes handwritten letters or notes, she likes daisies, she likes... you."
"Okay, I have an idea," I say with a huge smile. "Good," she grins, "I hope it works, she has her doubts and all..." "I just hope she'll say yes..." "Oh, trust me, she will. You do know she only goes to the games because of you, right?" "Really?" "Yes," she grins. "Okay, thank you so much!" I start to back up in the yard. "No problem," she calls after me. "Bye mate!" "Bye!" I say, waving and turning around, heading back to my house. I had an idea, I just hoped it works.
