Liam's POV
I had been walking around the school for about ten minutes. I went to class when the bell had rung, but decided to lie to my teacher and say I wasn't feeling good. I then started looking around for (Y/N). I looked around the hallways and eventually decided to cut through the gym to another hall, but I stumbled upon a movement in the bleachers. When I saw another movement, I had decided to check it out. That's when I found her, and she did not look at all happy to see me.

"(Y/N)!" I say, offering my hand. She takes it, slowly getting to her feet. "Why are you hiding?" I ask her, noticing she was looking away from me. She eventually looks up at me. "Why? Why, Liam? Why am I hiding? Well probably because SOMEONE just had to kiss the one person who makes my high school years a living hell! That's why I'm hiding!" I try to comprehend this. Was she jealous? Why did Kelsie have to be such a bitch, especially to (Y/N)?

I look back at her and sigh. "I'm sorry." "For what?" She asks, with a hint of annoyance. "For what you saw. She came up to me and got the wrong idea, and when I tried to pull her off of me, she just held on tighter." "Stop lying to me!" Her voice had a little crack in it. "Please just stop lying to me and tell me why you're here!" "I'm here because I wanted to find you and see if you were alright." "Sure you did. Why don't you just go back to Kelsie, make both of our lives easier." "Easier!? Ha. You actually think I like her? HER? Seriously, (Y/N), I HATE her! She just clings onto me and to make her shut up, I go to her stupid games and talk to her." I notice a hint of hurt in her eyes. "What's wrong?" "I-I'm on that team."

"(Y/N), I didn't-" She begins to back away from me. "No, just stay away from me," she continues to back up, with me following. "Get away from me!" She shouts, just as her foot connects with the bleacher, causing her to fall backwards. I automatically step forward and catch her before her head makes contact with the ground. She looks up at me, her eyes searching mine. Both of our pulses were racing, but either of us maks a move to separate. "Uh... Thanks for saving me..." She says, still watching me. "It's no problem," I answer, grinning.

"So, uh..." She starts. I bring her back up, and let her stand on her own. She straightens up and fixes her ponytail. "Thanks again," she says, finishing tightening the ponytail. I laugh a little, "It's fine, (Y/N), I'm just glad you're okay." A grin escapes from her lips. "Okay, but answer one thing for me." "Okay, what is it?" "Why did you choose to be my partner in anatomy?" I begin to answer, just as Kelsie walks in.
