Your POV
Fifth hour was starting, but I didn't care. Yes, I would be missing class, but at the moment, I just wanted to distance myself from people. I run into the school's gym and climb up the bleachers, sitting down in the middle of the top row. I feel tears fighting their way out of my eyes, and I let them. The warm, watery feeling takes over. I continue to allow the feelings out of me.

***
I had been in the gym for about 45 minutes, when I hear the doors open. The gym didn't have any lights on, the only brightness coming through the windows on the doors. I start to panic. Who would be in here now? The gym teacher didn't have a fifth hour and he wasn't in his office, so who would be coming into the gym at this time? I try to hide in the darkness, but it doesn't help. Footsteps start to grow louder and my heart beat speeds up. As the sound grows closer to me, I quickly hide between the last two rows of bleachers, though my backpack would still be in the open.

I stay on my knees and glance up, seeing a shadow down below. The footsteps stop, and I quickly try to hide again. Once I'm back in place, the footsteps begin to come up the bleaches. By now, I had a rapid heartbeat. I glance up once more time, just in time to see.... Liam.
